I was in a very difficult situation after being charged with impaired driving. Given the facts against me I knew there weren't many lawyers that I trusted to represent me. After speaking with several experienced individuals and doing my own research, I decided that David was best suited and proved that judgement to be absolutely correct. From first contact he showed great knowledge and experience which led me to feel extremely comfortable. He was prompt with his responses regarding the case,my well- being, any questions or concerns I had. Most importantly for me David proved throughout the process that his work ethic is tremendous. His tenacity above all else was most impressive and what anyone would want in someone representing them. With these efforts my impaired driving charge was reduced to careless driving. am very happy I made the wise choice to hire David Genis, my case was particular, I got charge with impaired driving, and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, I was facing jail and criminal record. David was right the whole time, everything he predicted is what ended up happening. My charges were dropped and I did not even had to go to court. Going through a situation like this is not easy and hiring the right lawyer is very important especially one with experience. Many thanks to him, I was scared not to be able to travel or work but now i am a free bird.I would recommend him 100%, THANKS AGAIN

I am very happy for choosing David as a lawyer, he went over my expectations! I was going home after a couple of beers at my friend's home. I just missed a car beside me when changing lane and the police pulled me out. I had an open can of beer beside me and it was still cold. The police found it and arrested me. At Police Station, I blowed 152mg. I was about to apply for PR and I couldn't have a criminal record. I was afraid in the beginning because of my limited budget. David listened carefully the details, then explained me the process. His attitude made me feel confident, and he charged me a very affordable price as well. I was in doubt if ANY lawyer could save me in those circumstances. But he was calm, all looked so simple for him. I don't know how, but he MADE it on the pretrial hearing. My case didn't even go to trial, unbelievable! In the end I just plead guilty for careless driving, and he got the minimum fine for me! During that period he always answered my emails promptly.

David did a great job on my case. He was honest, efficient, professional and successfully converted an over 80 to a careless. Honesty is important when considering matters like this, he was upfront about the challenges we would face and never over exaggerated expectations. However, he managed to resolve everything and I was very satisfied with his service.

Worst lawyer. Only wants you to plea out. Don't hire him. Now I have a record because he forced me to plea instead of proceeding to trial. Charges 3k for a simple bail hearing and loses. UJASNII ADVOKAT. NE NANIMAITE EGO.

David is an amazing lawyer, he is tenacious and persistent and adamant on maintaining his reputation as a knowledgable criminal lawyer. He knows his way around the Charter inside and out; he's dealt with countless cases, so there's truly very little that he hasn't seen. My case involved blowing over 80mg/100mL and Impaired Driving. Both charges dropped, (albeit after a tedious year and a half of my case being postponed due to circumstance), and I could not be more happy. David wasn't the first lawyer that I went to, I've tried two other lawyers who are self-entitled and self-proclaimed big shots. They wanted over twice as much as David and I agreed on, and to be honest I wasnt feeling to secure and assured from my impressions of them. But David's awesome. Bottom line, if you want to win your case, your best bet is David. With him you receive thorough communication, in-depth analyses of updates to your case as they come, and you always know that this guy is always on your side.

If your DUI and driving offences means a lot to you.Talk to David Genis.Highly recommended. David did a fantastic job. Overjoyed with the outcome. Had a crazy scary situation, I was charge with "over 80 mg" and DUI. I was looking at a driving ban, hefty fine (Insurance, court fines, installation of some stuff you blow into, and a criminal record that goes with it.My case seemed impossible. Guys 4Real I was not ready to go down like that!(Serious Nightmares) I couldn't give up! No way!. David Genis saved my life. That's all I have to say. All charges were withdraw by the crown, Case closed. I did not go to court!

I was arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking and about 20 fraudulent credit cards was found in my car and in my backpack. I was charged with fraud over $5000 and other stuff, all related to these cards. David cleared this case before it even went to trial. I did some community service up front and all the charges were dropped by the crown! I recommend David 100%, especially for Newmarket court. I had other lawyers before, so I know the difference.

David Genis just wants your money. My son hit a garbage can at a gas station. The worker came out and said no big deal, the garbage can just fell down, so everything was ok, but someone called the police and said my son and his friend were both driving and that they smell booze. Imagine two people driving the vehicle at the same time, doesn't make sense at all. The worst thing is that my son and his friend after talking to the worker, left and parked for the night, and had a couple of drinks. Three hours after they were parked six young police knocked on the door waking them up and arrested them for drinking and driving. How can you charge somebody who is parked and sleeping, keys out of the ignition. So freaken stupid. Twenty thousand dollars and three and a half year later my son is charge criminal record, and some people get away with murder. I just don't get it. David Genis is worth sweet nothing. Only a money grabber. I would never recommend him.

Seriously amazing lawyer! I was charged with blowing over 80, and careless driving. We were scheduled for two days of trial and it was all over in half a day! David got me off on all accounts, all I had to pay was a fine of $50.00 for not having proof of insurance which is not a criminal charge or a driving charge. He is extremely knowledgeable, and communicated with me for any questions or concerns I had. This was a very scary situation and David put my mind at ease. I highly recommend him. I couldn't be happier with the outcome, and he was worth every penny!

Amazing lawyer, highly recommended! I first met up with david the day after i rear ended another vehicle and blew more than double the limit. The case seemed impossible to win but he assured me that its very impossible. I trusted him and he was very professional. At first he seemed like he didnt care too much but dont let that fool you! He has his reasons. He doesnt want you worrying about the case until about a month before actual trial date. Then he takes it very seriously. His knowledge on law was outstanding. In addition, we were up against the head Crown (The superior to all other crowns in the building), and we still won. Also, i didnt even need to testify! Doesnt get better than that. Would recommend him to anyone. A++

I was looking for a lawyer for my DUI case and David came recommended by my family friend (who is in trouble every now and then and seems to know a lot of lawyers). I chose David because I felt he was honest with me and did not throw promises around while another lawyer who I saw was giving me promises but did not want to put it on paper. David and I signed a contract so I knew about all the fees up front. The only time I had to show up in court was for my trial. After David cross examined the police officers, he told me that he thinks the case should be dismissed for technicality. That's exactly what happened in the end of the day. The reviewer below seems to have seen a different lawyer, I can't imagine it being true, David was obviously very experienced and professional.

David handled my court matter with the upmost respect and confidentiality and without judgement. I was just an individual who made a mistake as we all do. David Always kept me informed of new informations and leadings in my defence. I will recommed David to anyone seeking legal representation. David managed to find solid evidence in my case and had my charge of over 80mg dropped down to careless driving and 1 year probation, which is a lot better then a full year suspension. After I explained my situation with my job and told him I CANNOT have my license suspend, he did everything he could for that not to happen. In the end I am VERY Satisfied with the outcome of my case and I owe it all to David. He was very knowledgable about the law and found evidence I never would have thought of. Thank you David!

Very good lawyer, explained the whole process to me and whether or not there was a likelihood of a positive outcome for me. Through talking with him, you are quick to understand that he enjoys his job but at the same times takes it very seriously (good balance between the two). I wouldn't hesitate to call him again if needed be.

Mr. David is a competent lawyer and a good listener. My boyfriend had growing and trafficking charges but Mr.David with his talent and experience got him out of it clean with no charges at all. I will definitely recommend him to anyone I care about.

My wife was charged with drinking and driving. Thanks to Mr. Genis the crown prosecutor agreed to drop the charge. That was the best result we could possibly hope for.
