I totally agree with every bad rating on here. She is not in best interest of the child. I have doubted she has children of her own as well. She is cold and callused and favors one side despite best interest for child.

It's obvious attorneys are paid to lie and defend their clients, Emily has an attitude and is at the bottom of the honesty barrel. Totally one sided, has no concern for the children,she doesn't return phone calls, will not listen, totally ignorant to solid proof. It's a shame what really goes on in the family court system. It's all about favoritism and $$$$. Stay away! Would not recommend!! Emily Vella should be disbarred.

Mrs.Emily Vella was the law guardian whom was assigned to my step daughter and did a great job in our eyes. The father was doing drugs infront of the child and was some abuse, she handled speaking with the child with care and compassion. She may have been one sided but only because the child needed her on that side. Since court our daughter has been much happier and well behaved she is excelling in school and we owe much of that to Mrs. Vella

I always thought LAW GAURDIANS work for the child in this case she made derogatory remarks that was said against the parent which she assumed was said by a family member.She needs to get her facts straight before she repeats information this was not true. also she needs to look into prior situation before she makes decisions.

I would NEVER recommend Emily Vella as a law guardian. She is one-sided, and does not get to know the children well enough to what is best stability wise and emotional needs. Not sure if she has children of her own, but she makes it living hell for the kids with the decisions she makes for the children, and difficult for the opposing parent she is against. She obviously has not been a parent long enough to know what is best for children. Avoid her at all costs, probably on a lawyer stand point as well....
