I worked with Marla using mediation with my now ex-husband. I have to say she was totally biased in his favor and did nothing for me. That, of course, is my perception. I lost more than he did in this transaction and I would not recommend Marla if you are a female. In my experience, she noticeably favored the male client. Use at your own risk.

Marla is a great mediator. As a family lawyer myself I have occasion to refer many people to mediation in Edmonton and Marla is always my first choice.

Talked to her on a Monday afternoon to make an appointment and she sounded like she just woke up from a nap or really needed one. She suggested we have a phone appointment in a few days and scheduled one with me for 9 am on the Wednesday and said she would call me. She never did call.
