Rene Larson took over my corporate file from another law firm that could not get things done in a timely manner. Rene not only got the job done expediently, he found numerous errors in the contracts and negotiated us a much better deal . I highly recommend him for his expertise and professionalism.

Rene simply does not get the job done. He ducks calls from me. He ignores my emails. I send emails to his other lawyers and ask them if they can ask Rene to please please please return calls. And now I don't trust him. He owes me money and he's had it for over a year and stalls paying me. I have personal knowledge of at least 6 other people in the same boat: Rene has collected money on their behalf and doesn't pass it along. Makes you wonder if he's raiding the trust fund to finance other expenses. Use him only if you're ok with being screwed around. Next time, better call Saul and you get better service.

The reason I rate Rene Larson high is because he helped me with a very complicated estate matter on a very timely basis. He made sure everything got done immediately that needed to be done so that no time was wasted. No matter what questions I asked, no matter how many times I called or emailed, I always got an answer. If I had concerns and forgot something, he always helped me and always answered calls or emails. My situation was really difficult, and right in the middle of the COVID restrictions. Myself and my family were directed on the fastest method of completing each task that needed to be done. The accounts were reasonable compared to what many other people I am aware of had to pay for such services. There were many things that were done that were not listed on my statement of account but that I had made notes on at home. I would recommend Mr. Larson (and his staff) to help anyone with any legal matters they may encounter. Due to protect privacy my name is Maisey.

He is a smart person but when it comes to execution he doesn't show. He is a smart person and talks the talk but when he comes to fighting for his client he disappears. He is ineffective and sends the bill right away.

He is the worst lawyer in the City of Thunder Bay. He neglected our entire land transfer and failed to let us know factors of our case until it was time for him to get his money. DO NOT use his as a lawyer. You will strongly regret this decision.

Rene is a disgrace to lawyers. He did not follow through with a family member's last will and testement. He is a sneak, takes advantage of and manipulates his clients. If a lawyer needs to do "house calls" & commercials, they're obviously a poor lawyer. I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy.
