Barbara Sauer is an attorney in Hawaii (primarily on Maui) and she doubles as Guardian ad Litem. If you're honest, stay as far away from her as possible. If you're forced to deal with her, make sure you keep a solid papertrail and record every conversation (HI is a 1-party consent state). If you're dishonest and are in the Family Court with Judge Keith E. Tanaka (and Sauer) you have a good chance of prevailing, especially if you have deep pockets. Get her while you can because Sauer's name will be in the headlines soon.
