Please don't hire this person! If I can keep every single person from hiring this man I would. My in laws hired this man last year , for my husbands felony case . This man did nothing to help my husbands case. He only showed up once to court . ?? All he did was lie . The people who work for him don't know what their doing they are a joke . I can go on ... After all the pain I was going thru he did nothing to help . My husband ended up pleading guilty to a felony (16 with half )same thing he was offered from begin with. My husband would of been better off with a public defender. Please don't waste your money on this person ..

I hired Mr. Holmes to help and he took care of me. After reading other reviews, and hiring him, I know the other reviews are not accurate. He cares for people and he fights for his clients. When I didn't have money to make a payment, he hung in there and didn't quit me.

Michael Holmes seems to know what he is talking about, but he doesn't execute that well in court. He can be very pretentious at times and does not like it when you ask too many questions. I found myself frustrated after working with him. He is definitely not worth the trouble. If you do choose to try this lawyer out just be careful and don't get your hopes up too much.

Michael Holmes is a waste of money. Prides himself on his knowledge and experience but once you hire him you will see none of that. I hired him to represent me on my first DUI and he has been lollygagging around getting nowhere. He's been rude and unproffesional multiple times and I can't put up with it anymore. Don't hire this lawyer or anyone who works with him. he will just waste your time.

last year I was charged with battery. I came to Michael Holmes with the hope of having my side of the story heard by someone who could help. after telling him my story I decided to hire him, he called the charge a simple case and convinced me he was the best. when I called a week after to check up I ended up talking to a different lawyer and was no longer "allowed" to talk to Michael holmes. plenty of time I made appointment to meet with this new attorney but it never happened. I tried telling him my story over the phone but he always seemed busy. the day before I had to show up in court he called me asking me all the details, the next morning he called again. Obviously everything was being done at the last second. that definitely showed during court. hiring michale holmes has been the worst disaster I could think of in my life.

Michael Holmes is probably the worst attorney around. He might seem knowledgeable and friendly at first, but that will quickly change with time. After hiring his office to defend me against criminal charges and he did no such thing. Beware of this business and anyone who works for them.

Michael Holmes was a very lousy attorney. His communication skills and that of his assistant Daniel were beyond terrible. I had to remind them of court dates, they failed to show up for one which caused a warrant to be issued for me. Had to follow the case through the online court case info system as I recieived no updates from him. When I first called about my case he was very friendly and acted like it would be no trouble getting the charges reduced or dropped altogether. This was just a ploy to get my money as after I paid I could never get ahold of him. he did not get the charges dropped or get me a good plea. Seriously consider another attorney.

After I got arrested I got a bunch of mail from attorneys. Mike’s stood out from the rest because of his former DA stuff and the Thousand dollar voucher. I called them and others but Mikes office took the time to listen to me and talk about what happened. Im super glad I went with him. I was able to plea to a much smaller charge and instead of 180 days of jail time I got community service. He was also less expensive than most of the other guys I called

I was in a scary, stressful, bad situation. My ex was threatening me and I did not feel safe. I was afraid for my children as well as myself. Mr. Holmes was wonderful - caring and kind, but straight to the heart of the matter. His office staff was fantastic about keeping me apprised of the progress of my case. I would, and do, recommend him highly!

Mr. Holmes is a well experience defense attorney, I would recommend him to everyone. I do agree that it is very difficult to get hold of his office staff for follow up my case, but he has so many cases so he is very busy. He has faith in me and willing to think of any defense strategies. He used to be a District Attorney so he knows how prosecutor would argue in the court. He isn't very expensive at all compare to other attorneys. We work well together because we both have faith to get my case resolved. My criminal case of burglary got dismissed because he submitted all the facts to approve District Attorney and the court that I didn't commit burglary. I do appreciate his help.

If I can put 0 I ll put zero.he promised me dismiss case and ge my 1000 $ and didn't do anything after everything when I told him what did he do ,I feel he didn't fight good , he told me **** and closed phone to my face . I gave him money to defend me and that's what this ft guy does, I don't even consider him a lawyer, but bad Kama gets you Michael, you trick the people get money do nothing 1 day god will takes our revenge man ,god is great.....

I was busted for weed, personal use. Had a dang med marijuana card. I showed it to the cops and they weren't having any. Mike and his secretary (also Mike) were totally cool with me, worked out a payment plan and after it was all said and done my case was dismissed.

Go elsewhere -- this guy is more of a thief than any client he's ever had. No response to calls or questions, steals the $1g and does lousy job even with easy cases. You will do far better to represent yourself if you are under .1 or get a good atty if you have a tougher case.

I got arrested and a friend referred Mr Holmes to me. I made a mistake before I got arrested and it almost cost me my future. Mr Holmes was able willing to fight for me. Going into it, I figured I was going to jail. But I was honest with him and he was able to help me avoid jail AND a felony. He was amazing. He is honest, always available (he even gave me his cell number) and he knows his stuff. I read another review and it said he never called back...I don't know who that is, but he always called me back when he wasn't available to answer.

The police charged me with a felony and I was not sure what to do. A friend recommended Mr. Holmes and I paid him to help me. He and his assistant Karen was so nice. When I needed an update they were there for me. When he was done with my case, the felony was dismissed and I didn't go back to jail. They are great.

Holmes is nothing more than a liar and a crock. He takes your money and then does nothing -- I mean, literally NOTHING! No matter how many times you call, he'll refuse to speak with you, but he will have his "assistant" Daniel lie to you about the situation! I would've been SO much better off on my own -- at least I would have actually had a chance! Instead, Holmes stool my money and screwed me out of my day in court! He was reported to the board and blatantly lied to them!! Eventually he's lies are going to catch up -- I just hope it's sooner rather than later. Do yourself a favor and go it alone! I mean, you'll be alone if you hire Holmes, but you'll be a bit poorer.

The Attorney and his staff (DANIEL& SECRETARY) are severely unprofessional, ignorant in every way. Failed to furnish me with offers that where given by the DA and lack of communication. Attorney extended my case for a year. At the end he relieved himself from representation and basically abandoning me. I had the worst luck with this attorney. I would NOT recommend his services to anyone.

i was facing a lot of time in state prison, up to 9 years, Mr Holmes got me no jail, just probation. I owe my freedom to him. Did a great job

Attorney Holmes repeatedly refused phone calls from client while incarcerated; made one time only visit to county jail; two way communication was zero. Should have stayed with public defender as he was more tenacious and truthful than this paid representative. He represents the worst of the reputation of Lawyers. His value: WORTHLESS!
