I retained Mr. Furlan recently for my matrimonial file. I found him knowledgeable, experienced and a good communicator. He was able to accurately tell me what would happen at court and in the end this saved me a lot more money than I paid. I think some of the negative reviews were probably by clients who didn't listen to him.

yes Dan is very expensive but he is worth the money.I am sure it was his doing that kept my divorce from turning into a mess.So I say he sayed me money. But I tell you that if it did turn into a mess I new I had the right layer.

Mr. Furlan is a poet!!! Great at creating unnecessary conflict with opposing counsel. Better have deep pockets..this men drafts long winded letters. Zero resolution in sight unless court is an option for you. Criminal is an understatement.

I retained Mr. Furlan last year for some issues with my x husband who took the children and didn't want to bring them back. Mr Furlan has successfully brought my 2 kids back home by filing an urgent motion with the superior court. I had to retain him again this year for other issues with my x who didn't want to give me his consent to keep the kids in the same school, also didn't want to give me the consent to travel with my kids outside Canada, again Mr Furlan was able to fight his lawyer and finally our mission is completed. Mr. Furlan is always available to reply to my emails and calls, aggressive to get the case succussefuly done. I would recommend him to anyone who is in a battle as he makes your life much easier and on top of things always! I will thank him again for all his hard work and putting up with my complicated x husband!

Dan Furlan represents his own interests. He will make you pay him $10,000 to supposedly get you $2,000 more money. The man is a criminal and he only writes long stupid letters to opposing council to piss off the other party and kill any possibility of settlement and go to court to charge you more. All 3 good reviews on this site are all done within 3 days probably by himself, be aware of this man and find somebody else.

I hired this lawyer a yr ago , recommended by a friend. Does not communicate well. All about the fees. Poor quality work. He does not remember anything.

My family has retained the services of Dan FurLan on two occasions spanning 8 years apart for the same case. We have known Dan since he was with ACRI,MACPHERSON LLP. Dan is very straight forward when it comes to handling the case and presents all sorts of scenarios that could take place. Dan is very good at calming down the situation and made us feel completely aware of our stance and chances during the proceedings. While in court Dan, has a strong presence. He delivers with knowledge of Court cases that were similar to ours and was well prepared compared to the opposing counsel. He is well worth the cost. He has a great team behind him, as his secretary Sandra is a pleasure to speak with also. I would definitely recommend Dan FurLan to anyone looking for legal matters to be resolved.

I worked with Mr. Furlan for several years on my family matter. I always felt that Mr. Furlan paid careful attention to the nature, sensitivity and real issues of my case, and he made the best use of the time he spent on my case for my benefit. Not once did I ever feel misled or misheard by Mr. Furlan or anyone at his firm. I felt extremely confident in having Mr. Furlan use his extensive knowledge of family law and is excellent negotiating skills while representing me. He always shared his knowledge with compassion and truth and gave me very practical direction. Mr. Furlan was able to ultimately get me results that were beyond my expectations. Contrary to the one other rating I read, I found this lawyer to be totally knowledgable about family law and caring about my case. He was highly effective in court and his rates were very fair for the quality of representation that I received. I would HIGHLY recommend this lawyer to anyone. He really fought for me in court and I was very pleased with the result.

Very unprofessional misleading communcation, inability to follow written instructions, not following his client best interest, misleading information as to the true meaning of the court order, billing discrepancies.
