I hired Brett and his team back in September of 2020 right in the middle of the Covid epidemic. My divorce wasn’t going well and I was being bullied by my ex and her lawyer… until I hired Vining law. Ever since I hired Brett my whole file did a 180!!! He’s a SHARK and oh boy is he aggressive! If you want a lawyer who is no BS and gets it done then stop wasting your time and hire Brett and his team. He’s the lawyer that other lawyers are afraid of…. And for a really good reason. I was lost and looking for the best lawyer and that’s what I got when I got lucky enough when Brett answered the phone on a Saturday evening when all other lawyers are out playing golf. He was in the office conducting court prep because he’s a workaholic. You know the saying you get what you pay for? Brett and his team are the epitome of that saying. Save your self time and money in the long run and hire the best! Hire Brett and you’re welcome! You’ll appreciate reading this later!

I’ve been a single dad now for 9 years, and that’s all because of Brett Vining. Without his service, my child would have been lost in a world of dysfunction. Instead, my child has had stability and structure with all the opportunities available.The odds were severely stacked against me prior to hiring Mr. Vining, but he was able to turn the course, and he ensured the court saw the truth. Great lawyer. Our family is forever indebted to him.

He is a good lawyer but a terrible person. Racist, sexist and generaly unpleasant.In addition, the way he speaks to his staff is appalling.

All I can say is Mr. Vining was my second lawyer and my only second chance for fighting my ex husband to finally get what I deserved not able to accomplish it the first time. All I say is a huge thank you, Mr. Vining you did! It was a long drawn out battle but your staff and yourself were very professional and hard working the whole time. Thank you, I would highly recommend Mr. Vining his name is enough to tell other lawyers he knows the law.

Brett Vining does not know how to spell or use a computer. He is by far over paid for his lousy services. He has a revolting reputation in and out of court and throughout Vancouver Island. How embarrassing for his kids. How embarrassing to be him and to leave such a loathsome legacy behind once hes gone.

Brett Vining is by far the best family and divorce lawyer on Vancouver Island. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need. He is the brain surgeon of family law. 5 star in my book of ratings.

Bret Vining is the best divorce and family law lawyer on Vancouver Island. I went thru "two" divorce lawyers before I found Bret Vining. I had lost most every negotiation with my ex's lawyers. He not only stopped my losses but retrieved all previous agreements unfairly made. He is the "Wayne Gretzki" of Divorce and family law. Finesse, extremely knowledgeable, experienced, dedicated with a great sense of humor for those low moments. My highest points. "il miglior fabbro"

In hiring Mr. Vining did not inform me as to my case, met him only a few times, being a female, he totally ignored me, and did everything for the male person, being my ex, my loosing everything, he gained and so did the other lawyer, dishonest person, does not like to represent women, a bit of a racist, just my opinion.

Mr. Vining is knowledgable, thorough and effective. I had an extremely difficult legal matter but once I switched to Brett Vining he achieved success and closure. He knows his stuff, is direct and tenacious. I highly recommend him.

Brett Vining is a snake. He has absolutely no morals and zero empathy. He will tear apart families and not think twice about it. He is a male chauvinist and has no respect for women. He has psychopathic tendencies. Stay away from this creep at all costs.

Looks out for himself and was totally useless in my opinion at dealing with general information that should be basic common sense to him in his profession. Talks down about women and was of no real value in the courtroom as he mixed up information and charged thousands for the so called hours he spent to prepared in advance for court. Biggest waste of money I spent in my life. In my opinion he is a has been and is no longer in touch with reality. Don't waste your time or money cause once it's gone it's gone and most of it to his pocketbook.

Tired and not in touch with todays Divorce laws. I would have been better to do it myself.Cost me a ton of money with no results. For all the hype around him. doesn't produce..just cost $$$.

Tired and ill prepared. No motivation to resolve. Conflict driven. You will pay and line his pockets. Drags things out way longer than needed. Old school which is out of touch with minimizing cost and ending dispute.
