Pat Mahoney did excellent legal work for us. He was diligent, ethical and readily available for questions. He explained things clearly to us at every stage and spoke well on our behalf. He is highly intelligent and very practical. We were grateful for his help throughout our professional relationship with him. We could highly recommend Pat Mahoney as a lawyer.

This silly man is boorish, arrogant and condescending to his peers and their clients. His personality does a complete shift in front of a judge where he tries to portray an affable self deprecating teddy bear. He has little grasp and recall of his own clients details, and appears not to keep his files organized. He constantly tries to shift his work to the opposing lawyer. He is an embarrassment to himself, his clients and all who have to witness his behaviour. A person who cares about his reputation in the Calgary business and legal community might want to consider another lawyer.

This lawyer is obnoxious and embarrassing to watch as he deals with other members of his profession. He is rude and arrogant, when he shouldn't be. He has an overall poor reputation among the profession and most people he has dealt with speak poorly of him. I have also found his ethics questionable at best.

Overall, Mr Mahoney is a dogged and determined advocate. He forms a solid position in terms of legal principles and sticks to it. He is also uncompromising--which is not always a good thing. His greatest strength is also his weakness. The low rating on communication speaks to that--I couldn't find somewhere else to put it. If one can look past some of Mr Mahoney's more prickly qualities, he is a very good lawyer. If you want someone who will take your side and fight for you uncompromisingly, Mr Mahoney is your man.

I wish the scores could be minus. The most obnoxious, immature, unprofessional I've ever had the displeasure to meet. Do not use him, he's awful.
