Hired Neville and paid $1500 retainer up front for a simple motion - dodged me for weeks then months. Wouldn’t answer calls, emails, texts for weeks then would send an email at 1am saying he filed a motion and scheduled a hearing only to call the court and find out neither had happened. He said this a few times.
Absolute con job and a thief. I’m in process of filing complaint with state legal board and a small claims filing.
Numerous other complaints identical to mine - takes money, never files motions or does any work, doesn’t respond for weeks or months, then disappears.
This guy needs to lose his license and his freedom. Just a matter of time before it catches all up. Stunning.

**Don’t pay attention to the bad reviews!!** There’s two sides to every story. Don is the best attorney in Livingston County. He got me full custody of my son. Me being a single father, that’s not easy to accomplish but Don did. He was always prepared and on time and he definitely knows family law. He will fight for you. My guess is that the bad reviews probably come from people who aren’t paying him, or people that had to go against him in court and got schooled by him. Great lawyer.

Literally saved my family. He was so helpful and thoughtful. He met after hours. He was always available. He got the job done. He was very prepared and on time. Finally an attorney that doesn't charge to speak to me. I read reviews and figured out the bad reviews were people who count pay the fee. Lawyers aren't free and good ones aren't either. He was worth every penny. I would recommend him to anyone

A big fat liar. NEVER on time to Court. NEVER returns calls. THINKS he is better than anyone else. He is rude, and does not tell you the truth of how things are, but does whatever he can to squeeze more money out of you. The most unprofessional person ever. He cares NOT about his clients,only their money. BEWARE! He also TRIES to manipulate you to keep him on. He is exactly the persona of a devious mind and person...the kind of attorney you DON'T want. It was a horrible experience, and I hope I never have to see him again. I would ONLY recommend him to my enemy! He also has an ex and a few kids...so he needs all the money he can squeeze out of you. I think he also has a bit of "little man" syndrome... hmmm...I can't wait for his "karma" to roll around. He's dispicable.

Anyone who hires him will be highly disappointed. Do not believe the positive reviews. Chances are they are written by friends or family. He is a negligent man and will not return any calls or emails. He has went on 4 vacations in 6 months and always has excuses for his shortcomings. BEWARE!

Gets the job done and does what he promises!!! Doesn't tell you things that won't happen and tells you how likely things are. He has a great reputation in the area he works and is able to go above and beyond. Thanks Don for all you do.

Did not return calls or emails. Made promises that were not kept. Had many excuses as to why he was unable to keep contact. Very ashamed. He seems to care less for people's well being.

Your right... He is apparently better than everybody else, his email doesn't apparently work and I don't feel he understands the problem. He is simply in it to pump money from you. Move on.

MR, NEVILLE .. IS THE MOST GREAT LAWYER IN TOWN . I WOULD GIVE HIS INFO TO ANYONE IN NEED OF A GREAT LAWYER . HE IS GREAT AT WHAT HE DOES AND KNOWS THE LAW VERY VERY WELL. Dispite all the negative comments. Don is still the man. He got me thru multiple of my cases and i am highly satisfy with all the result. He is honest and his communication skill rocks. He answered my call when i have questions that needed answering. He never "lost" any of the paperworks. Very organized and percise. His wife is also a pleasure to talk to and is very professional. It was strictly business. All in all i would recommend don to all of my friends in need

Mr. Neville has been a great resource, he knows the laws and is very patient. When I saw the people speaking negative about his performance, I almost did not retain him. I have not had any problems with Don at all. He has returned all my calls and e-mails in a timely manor and has been a great help. As I am still in the middle of my proceedings I will update this once we finish up. I would hate to see someone lose out on a great attorney due to others negative posts. His prices are great and he is worth every cent. Don goes above and beyond what his responsibilities are. Thank you Don for everything you have done and are currently doing for me!!!! Robert Sutton

I believe this attorney is the only reason I have custody all my children he worked very hard to get the custody she was honest in the front with the billing he charge little as possible and was over all very professional I thought.

I had a difficult custody issue. He was professional honest and very affordable. I would highly recommend him! People have to understand that their expectations are not always possible. Given the bad situation I was in I could not ask for more. I am very satisfied.

So disappointed all the way around. Does not return calls, does not tell you when you don't need to appear so you sit there waiting for him when he never shows up, he lost our paperwork for 3 months and during this time would not tell us what was going on other than he was "waiting", clients paperwork is all over the place there is NO confidentiality. Then when we finally made it to court he hadn't filed the right papers so we had to go back again! Then we were charged for both times and when asked to explain the bill all we get told is he is right, we are wrong. He doesn't know the law or the procedures, it was always "they just changed the policy" or "I did it the clerk must have lost it". He and his wife are also incredibly rude and unprofessional speaking poorly of their other clients and stuck up comments about being better than everyone. I would never recommend him and honestly am surprised he's still in business at all.

I have had two case with Don I most likely have more experience than any other reviewers as I was with him for 3 years. And I'm going to be honest I thought their reviews were a bit nice. To say Don is "dishonest" would be giving him too much credit. He is down right manipulative and devious. -Does not answer your calls / -Has an excuse for everything / -Tells you what you want to hear then does what he wants / -Breaks the contract (so keep! you copy!) claimed "he lost it in moving lol" / -Leave your girlfriend, wife, ex wife ect at home (trust me...or don't and you WILL find out what I'm saying) / -He does Not like you... no matter how hard he plays up the "buddy" lawyer relationship... it does not like you and will sell you out in a heart beat for $. He basically ripped me off for about $3500 but was so buddy buddy about it. I have to file a complaint with the state and a small claims lawsuit to get my money back. IF you go with Don please note... you were Warned.

In my opinion he was Deceptive.. It was my understanding that he was representing both my ex wife and i in a divorce. I was told he was just filing a simple divorce. I would advise GUYS if your soon to be ex wife gets this guy DONT talk to him or her!! Go RIGHT AWAY and get your own lawyer!!
