I received a DUI and I had no idea what to do because this was my first time ever getting in any legal trouble. I went to Mr. Stein because my friend said he was cheap. (I have learned my lesson; you get what you pay for so aim for higher priced lawyers.) My first issue was he NEVER knew who I was when I called. When I got to court, he sat me down and explained the plea deal. It had everything I could've gotten with or without a lawyer. I had 40 hours of community service, a $1,057 fee, DUI school, license suspension, impact panel, and evaluation. This was my first time EVER being in trouble so I was dumbfounded. I think he works with the prosecutors to get the highest sentences. I accept my DUI 100% but he is a LIAR. He was not fully honest with me and he does not want what's best for his clients. Please do not allow him to do this to you.
