Professional Lawer and Amazing Individual

I never met such attorney and person like Eliza Grinberg...my case was very complicated and no attorney wanted to take care about that and help me to get success, but Eliza I have met inspired me that I may win it in a court and she showed me how to reach that purpose. I had an experience with another lawyer firm before I found The Law Office of Grinberg & Segal. Eliza Grinberg is one the most professional person I’ve ever met who in the same time had a compassionate approach to the case. She has a special ability to make you feel comfortable and safe. It’s not easy to fight for yourself when you’re alone and to know that someone was really fighting for you was priceless. Every time I had a question she was replying within minutes to my email. Circumstances changed before my hearing and Eliza gave my case to Alexander Segal who was there with me on the most important day. They both prepared me and I felt like I had all team working with me and putting all their knowledge and skills to help me to get a positive result. I am happy and still very emotional about my experience with Eliza Grinberg, but I will try to stick to the facts.
What you should know about Eliza Grinberg:
- She knows what she does and she does it well. She will answer any questions you have and come up with solutions you need.
- Her communication skills are top level, which helps greatly during the most important and stressful moments of your case.
- She will give you ALL information and knowledge you need, which will give you A LOT OF confidence. Your confidence is everything.
On top of that, Eliza is a genuine and nice person. Not a bad thing for a lawyer at all!
I never write reviews but I had to do it this time, because you should know this if you are looking for a lawyer.

Ms. Eliza Grinberg not and attorney, the way she was presenting in front of the Judge was a jock.For the attorney she can not even speaks English. I filed the complain in NYC attorney complain because I lost the case badly in addition she created big mesMcs that I have to pay to an other attorney to fix problems that was never exist before Ms. Grinberg presented me. After loosing my case she said that she does not care about me either of my problems.

I, just like many emigrants, thought that I had a very hard case. I am a Ukrainian, and me and my father had big problems in Ukraine back in the time, when nobody could even conceive an idea of bloodshed in the country. Never trust this lawyer she takes money and doesn't do anything. She spoiled my asylum case and I ended up in deportation . She doesn't know anything about immigration law. Judge was laughting on her . I went to another lawyer and she helped me.

Do not hire her. I hired Eliza Grinberg in 2008 and every action of hers was a huge mistake. I spent 6 years trying to fix my status up after spending another $15 on motions to reopen the case she ruined. Stay away, she should be put in jail forever. She is ignorant and her every word is a lie.

Avoid this attorney!!! We stopped working with her after we discovered that she kept providing a false information regarding our case. As a result our immigration status was in danger and we lost over $6,000. In addition to Mrs. Greenberg not being an honest professional, she has a quite bad attitude which makes people feel inferior.

I met Ms Grinberg through a friend. He was denied political asylum and this lawyer fought his case and won big time. After visiting 3 lawyers I was desperate and called my friends for her number. I am an US citizen and had more than a fraud case. I was scare of spending money, however to surprise I no only got a free consultation but also a detail on how my cases would be fought and time frame. Ms Grinberg kept me informed of all the happening of my cases and gave me peace of mind sooner than expected. She also helped me as an attorney in other legal matters non related to immigration. I will always be grateful to her professionalism, promptness and kindness. I thanks her for always returning my calls and e-mails which is unusual of many lawyers. Yes I do recommend her service to anyone serious.

Never! Lost time and money. She tries to act like a big nut, but after dealing with 5-6 lawyers in my case, it is obvious that she knows nothing of it, just an air castles. Lying easily, tries to rob you as much as she can. Extremely unprofessional.

This attorney is the most horrible immigration attorney possible to imagine. She does not care about her clients at all. All she needs is money. She has given me one copy of affidavit and submitted completely different one to immigration interview, the reason why they declined my case and directed me to court. She is absolutely incompetent, lazy and most ignorant lawyer I have ever seen. Promising that she can win your case she suggests "to negotiate " with prosecutors. It's crazy, I refused to deal with her as soon as I realized who she truly is. A lier and robber.

I am former client of Eliza Greenberg.
She is the most incompetent immigration lawyer I have ever dealt with ( and because of Eliza I had to interview lots of lawyers to get a GOOD one to clean mess that Elisa created).
She told us that she had a similar case and won it ( lie).
She gave us an incompetent advice (that I can stay in the US and adjust my status here – according to law I had to leave and adjust status abroad).
She tried to charge us twice an amount was initially discussed during our first consultation.
During curtail time in our case ( we had only 30 days to appeal) she have decided to go on vacation and we missed a deadline.
As a result of all that, it took my family 6 years! To fight with immigration to resolve the mess Eliza created. It cost us more then $20K money and lots of stress. I would NEVER recommend this lawyer to anyone. She is a FRAUD!

The****tiest lawyer ever... Me and two more of my friends applied for asylym with her. Of course none got anything. In my statement for the interview there appeared to be a mistake which made an officer think i'm lying, (the statement was checked by her three times minimum). After a while i got to know that it's not only me who had a mistake in their statments (among her clients). When asked if I need affidavits for the witnesses she said - " no i'll deal without them." And when i decided that i had enough and wanted to switch lawyers. Inan attempt to keep me she said she actually doesn't need anything like affidavits and etc. because she has connections and strings to pull, you know. She said she is a judge's close friend and can "highjack a hearing" by talking to the prosecutor . I heard all that before, there were no results at all though. So i left. Had never been more happy than when i finally did it.
