All he cares about is money. Didn't do ANY work or refused to do meaningful work b/c of the retainer. Either way we lost custody in the most egregious way. Lost more than what the opposing side was asking for. that is how bad he is.

#1 Custody case:
A. He missed two calendar calls, his only responsibility for the case. This pushed back the hearing over two months. Additionally, both his office and he claimed they showed up.....which was somewhat true. There was an attorney from his firm at the calendar call, but he did not represent me.
B. It took 3.5 months for his office to pull the file and understand what was going on in my case.
C. I filed a contempt motion in Novemeber that needed to be calendared.....it has still not been calendared.
D. He was supposed to share information about payment with the opposing council.....it never happened ( 3+ months )
#2 Superior & District Cases
A. Upon my first meeting he agreed to take both cases and file my motions to set aside. During the second meeting he said he would only assist with the Appeal of the Superior case and the motion for district court. This is a breach of the original agreement. Sadly, both statements were untrue.

Absolute worse experience I have ever had with an attorney. I went to Mr Culbertson for advise on a divorce/ real estate situation. Within the first 5 minutes of our conversation, I was shocked at how rude and condescending his attitude was. He explained a liability exposure situation to me that did not sound correct. I repeated what he said to me to make sure I heard him correctly and asked was he sure. It did not sound right or make sense. He went off on a rant stating how dare I question him. Now note, I was not even there nor did I ask anything about liability exposures. I couldn’t get out of his office quick enough. I did consult w another attorney the next day and found out he was wrong just as I thought. The point I’m trying to make is please do your research before considering this attorney. Search him, you will find interesting information. Learn from my mistake & stay clear of this one.

This lawyer is the worst lawyer. He talks a good game but doesn't understand the law to follow through. He lies about his ability to handle the matter you hired him to take care of. I had to chase him down to even start working on my case. He messed up paperwork for the court and then blamed me for his mistake. He doesn't read his emails. After talking to me in his office, in a later phone call, he said he had never met me. He will lie to your face so beware if you choose to hire him. He has been admonished by the bar for lying on his website and his letterhead. I wish I had known that before I hired him. Please if you actually want to attempt to win your case, hire someone else. I don't know how he has managed to keep his license this long.

The only reason this guy is even getting one star is because its required!! I am not someone that goes on the internet to review anyone or anything, but I had such a horrible experience with this joke of an "attorney" that I felt the need to warn anyone else from making the same mistake I did in hiring him. I hired him to handle a case for me and I was told that I was not needed to be in court for the first court date. It got continued to the next month. I called after the first court date to find out what the next step was and what I needed to do, if I needed to ask off work to be present for the next court date etc. I was told that if I am needed I will get a phone call. Well guess what? I NEVER got a phone call, letter, NOTHING saying I needed to be present for the next court date and this guy calls and asks why I didn't show up. I told him exactly what I was told when I called to check on things. He then begins to talk to me in the most condescending way I've ever been talked to in

My name is Joel, I'd like to say here that Mr.Krispen is a very devotional lawyer. Takes Things into action without break till winning the case. His a lawyer who relates to the problems and cases. His been my immigration lawyer for 6 years now. He has all the capacity and knowledge for immigration. He always wins my cases. He knows what to do.

I get the impression that many of these other posts are by non-clients, and people Mr. Culbertson has sued for doing bad things (online, for example). I am a real client. Culbertson is very, very effective and really cares about his clients.

HE IS RUDE, FORGETFUL, DISRESPECTFUL AND just money hungry. If I would have done research properly I would never hired him. He takes on a case for the money but once you paid him in full, his real attitude comes into place. You will not never receive his cell phone because he dont want to talk to you as his client. When you call the office you will almost never get him, a call back but never him. If you need a lawyer depending on the crime and severity you should represent yourself or hire a public defender. He should not be allowed to practice in my opinion because he is a con artist and criminal himself. DO YOUR RESEARCH ON HIM!! PAST RECORDS DO NOT LIE!

Krispen represented my son recently and he was not professional very rude. Once he took the money he was gone. I would never recommend this attorney to anyone. He performed ineffective counseling and we are now in the process of filing a complaint with the bar association. Do not use him!!!

I have to say Mr. Culbertson was the best lawyer talking to him on the phone and via emails he talks a good game about what he can do for you and your case but once he gets your money he is a hard lawyer to catch up with, you can never reach him to get answers about your case. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS LAW FIRM TO ANYONE. Mr. Culberston is rude and does not really care about the client once he has your money and if you are expecting feedback on your case receipts don't cause you won't get it he is the worse lawyer ever!! I made the biggest mistake hiring him as a service member with 23 years in the Army I have never encountered such unprofessionalism from a lawyer. I can't honestly say he got me. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS LAWYER DO YOUR RESEARCH CHECK REVIEWS BEFORE RETAINING THIS LAWYER.

First time every hiring a lawyer and it was the worst experience I have ever had. With 3 tickets and a lawsuit, I persued Mr.Culbertson thinking that with his experience and the price he quoted me I would be in good hands. I trusted him and hoped that he would make my situation better. I never thought the lawyer had the ability to continue a case that was dismissed. But that was not the worst part. He failed to appear on my behalf. Now, as a mother of 4, I have had to fire him TODAY and have decided to represent myself. With the results I have gotten from him, I believe the lack of my legal knowledge is way better than the lack of concern for my situation. He does not communicate well with what is going on with your case, his office staff are dingy and unproffessional, he forgets conversations he has had with you, he is very rude, and rarely availible to answer your questions and concerns. I would do my research before trusting this man with your time, money, or your legal situation.

PLEASE LET MY EXPERIENCE BE YOUR GAIN! So much money was given to Culbertson and talking bad about a professional is not what I'm in the business of doing. He's rude! Under no circumstances has he ever been prepared! He will talk a good game, then when it's time for the game, he's defiantly someone you don't want on your team let allow someone who is defending you! I could go on and on which is what I did, thinking at some point he was going to do some work and in going on and on, more money was asked for from him and never at no point did he work for any of the money that was paid! I'm not sure how he sleeps with a clear concise at night taking money from the public and not properly representing them. When he did make it to court, he was late! During the hearing he asked me(his client) do you have any questions? I was ALARMED!! Had I known I was representing myself I would of prepared better than him and I didn't attend law school. DON'T BE SCHAMED BY HIM!

The worst attorney experience I have ever had. Totally unaware that an attorney could plead up a speeding ticket, then tell you that's the best they can do and you're out of luck. Attorney assured me of his ability in phone interview that a successful and satisfactory resolution would be achieved. After his courtroom failure, I hired an attorney to appeal his plea on my behalf. They successfully got me what he should have in the first place, but I lost the money I gave him. Very misleading in every aspect that an attorney could possibly be. Hire at your own risk!!! Would not use for a jaywalking ticket!! My loss is your gain!

I paid this esquire twice, and NOTHING was done on my behalf except for receiving a letter stating I was required to perform 5 hours of community service at ANY non-profit organization. When I tried to set up the community service, the answer was the same everywhere: You must be assigned the community service, you can't just pick the place you desire to perform the service. After leaving several messages with the people under his employ, and getting no response, I felt compelled to leave this morsel of truth for all to see. Let the truth be told: your money given to this man is as good as gone.

He assured me one thing, but he did not follow through. I can understand things happen out of ones circumstances,but it would be nice to get an explanation. I only recieved a letter with the outcome and were and how to pay the fees. His secretaries are very rude and unprofessional. I asked for a reciept so I could file a claim with another company, I was took I had recieved one already,and if I needed another one she would have to talk with the attorney for permission. I am talking about a receipt!..a piece of paper pretaining to my account and she had to get permission.
