Very unhappy with Stanley Cope. Very rude to woman, fired his junior associate who he handed my case too 5 days before my discovery. Took all money after I had to pay 18% on my bills plus he charges 33 1/3 %. There was nothing left for my treatments. He didn't fight for me at all. Told me to take the deal or we would have to go to trial.

I had a Vancouver lawyer that was doing nothing for me. Mr.Cope got on to my claim and produced the results that I was looking for. Really glad I made the change.

took everything I was awarded at trial. Has the junior counsel do all the work. Didn't return calls. Didn't explain ANYTHING. Doesn.t send out bills then sent a huge one at the end. There was no benefit to me from hiring this lawyer

My friend told me to use Stan Cope. I had pain and I did not want to deal with ICBC. I am glad I used him. He and his staff are good. they explained to me what was going on so I always understood what was happening. It took almost 3 years to settle my file but I got the treatment I needed. He is straight forward and to the point. He has lots of experience. I would definitely recommend him to other people.

If you think that Mr Cope is a great lawyer have a look at your bills...oh yeah he tells you not to open them. He charges 33 1/3 plus 18% interest compounded monthly. This is on the disbursements that ICBC is suppose to pay..FYI ICBC doesnt pay interest..he goes after your part 6's not part 7's..people need to read and open all mail from him and pay your bills from him or you get nothing in the end. Yes it is nice not to have to pay for physio or massage but you pay in the end...you pay him 51 1/3 on your money

Mr.Cope came recommended to me and I was very happy with the outcome of my case. He helped me out every step of the way. If I needed to see a specialist, I did not have to wait very long to see them. I would recommend him to others. All the staff in the office are very kind and helpful as well. Thank you to everyone.

Mr Cope came highly recommended.I was in so much pain and trying to get better but ICBC was unreasonably harassing me.The thing I remember most about meeting Mr Cope was he truly understood pain, he told it like it was, and he pulled no punches.I also felt he went out of his way to make me feel comfortable in his presence.My experience with Mr Cope was he was a gentleman,who truly cared about my future,and spoke in terms I understood.I also had an excellent experience dealing with Mr Cope’s exceptionally organized staff.I was seen by some of the best Doctors and Specialists who assessed me, and helped me to learn why I was in so much pain.If Mr Cope wants you to see a specialist you get in without waiting 6 months to a year to see them.I received physio therapy and didn’t have to worry about how I was going to pay for it.There was no rock unturned or test not done, if it meant it would not only help my case but help me heal and learn more. Thank-you Mr Cope, and your wonderful staff.

I have spent 1 1/2yrs working with Stanley Cope and have been very happy with his service during this time. He came highly recommended, and I have not been disappointed. He is direct and to the point, he was on top of my case every step of the way. He helped point me in the direction of the help I needed. I received consistent updates and copies of the communications taking place along the way. At one point he was sick and was not able to attend a scheduled meeting but did present reasonable options for me to choose from including the option to reschedule the meeting. His staff has been very helpful and informative and willing to work with whatever my needs were along the way. Should I ever need help again I wouldn't hesitate to seek his aid. Thank you Stanley! No break down of the accounting of what the settlement was from ICBC, i.e. Special Damages/Income loss ect. Very rude and condescending to women.

Cope allowed a junior person to represent me in an ICBC case and lost my claim to the tune of 36000.00. Cope did not disclose clearly and decisively, the fact that he could withdraw from representing me and hand over my case to an inexperienced junior who was incapacitated at my trial. A moral person would explain what changes he would make that may affect the case. A moral person would at least ask a client, if the replacement was OK! You judge, would you hire this lawyer?
