Be aware of this attorney! He is very polite and friendly when you meet him in person or over the phone to convince you to hire him. Once you pay, you won't hear from him until the court date. If you have any concerns, you better google the answer because he doesn't have a secretary and never returns calls, emails, or texts. He has no communication with his clients. The Florida Supreme Court disciplined eight different attorneys in recent actions brought by the Florida Bar. He is in that list. He has many negative reviews that you should consider and search before you decide yo hire him.

I can definitely see why Mr. Pagan has so many positive testimonials about his law firm, I was recommended by a family friend who was also going through a divorce. Mr. Pagan was a very straight forward, knowledgeable and competent professional who always had my best interest when it came to my case. In addition Mr. Pagan was also able to take the best and quickest course of action when it came to making a quick decision on my divorce, not only did he take the best course of action but he also served as a mediator when things got complicated for Me and my ex-spouse he was able to make this divorce an easy and peaceful process. Mr. Pagan is someone you can trust and count on to represent you, last but not least he charged me a fair amount and was not Over-priced one bit. I would Highly recommend Mr. Pagan to anybody in need of serious legal assistance.

Pagan took on a case when he didn't have the time or the staff to give it any attention. He managed to get one motion filed but then ignored all correspondence from the court and the motion was dismissed without him even appearing or notifying me that there was a hearing. He cost me more than $12,000 and only returned half the money he was paid. Unethical lawyer.

Filing for chapter 7 is a difficult situation to be in, I found Antonio Pagan via the internet. I called an we spoke on the phone. I felt comfortable talking with him and he told me all I could expect in my case. He walked me through the process, and I did what I had to from my end. He contacted me when we would come to each step. I highly recommend him. He was knowledgable and understanding. It went as he said it would and I am grateful for his services.

I called Mr. Pagan after I called several different Attorneys. It was the best decision I made. He is extremely knowledgeable and does exactly what he says he will do. He is wonderful about responding to emails and spends as much time as you need answering all your questions. This is the 2nd time we've used Jose Antonio Pagan's services. Seven months earlier he handled my husband's bankruptcy. Everything worked out well then - as it has worked out recently in my bankruptcy.The guy is very people oriented and down to earth in dealing with you. He gathers all the needed information for filing right over the phone. So you don't have to leave your home. He answered all questions I had, "upfront", during the telephone interview. So I knew what to expect and how things would proceed, without surprises. His cost was very reasonable (one of the lowest), and broken down to include court costs, and locked in. My money was already tight and the last thing I need is a surprise I couldn't afford. Mr. Pagan is extremely qualified and knows what he is doing. I was stressed out to say the least thinking about filing chapter 7. Antonio Pagan met with me on a Saturday morning and went over every single detail of the process. He offered a payment plan to pay for his services and helped me fell more at ease.
The whole process was very easy. I didn’t have to meet with Antonio again until court date, but he kept me informed of my progress and what I had to do next through emails, phone calls and text message. (Don’t feel frustrated if you can’t get him on the phone during the day, as he is most of the time in court sessions). He ALWAYS return the missed calls that same night.
A couple of days before my court date, he called me and explained what to expect at court and just like that and 30 min later it was over.

The fact you need money to declare you don't have any is a sad oxymoron. I was going through a garnishment & when I contacted the company, the amount owed was increasing due to compounding interest. Bankruptcy was my only option. I started to google "bankruptcy for less." I thought "Antonio Pagan" was a scam since the fee compared to other bankruptcy fees was so modest. I was hesitant but desperate enough to pursue. Rest assured, it was the best google search I ever came across. He provided an itemized list of everything needed to file bankruptcy. All was done via e-mail, but when it came time to pay the flat bankruptcy rate I insisted I pay in person; I was still fearful of the chances this really was a scam. I showed up to the office in Downtown Miami, paid the fee in person (although I could've paid via phone call or e-mail), he provided me with a receipt, & all I had to do was wait for the "Meeting with Creditors" date. Antonio Pagan & his team are excellent. Look no further...

Mr. Pagan was incredibly helpful and generous from the start. He always took the time to speak with me on the phone for a while and carefully explain, suggest and structure the action plan on my behalf. He honestly was concerned in making sure I could recover financial stability. Mr. Pagan would schedule a meeting when he felt I was not clear 100% on the next steps of my financial restructuring. When we would meet at his office he was (again) attentive and did not let his cell or office phone interrupt our meeting.
I was grateful to finally have someone listen to me and all my concerns about my foreclosure situation. Mr. Pagan explained all of my options thoroughly in a manner that helped alleviate my anxiety. Bankruptcy is a tough nut for anyone to go through. After research I selected Antonio Pagan, P.L. based on the positive reviews of others. Antonio and one of his associates Thomas Curran, made the process understandable, fast, simple, and affordable. There was no need to waste time visiting their office, as these are modern day attorneys who helped complete all the paperwork on-line/via fax. All the information they gave me was correct. When I had questions and needed mental hand holding they were there. While the bankruptcy experience is the pits, Antonio and Tom brought me through it in good form. I recommend this firm/people. My experience with Attorney Jose Antonio Pagan with my Chapter 7 Bankruptcy was amazing. A friend of mine referred me to him. She spoke greatly of him and his firm. Her Son also did his Bankruptcy with Jose Antonio Pagan and was very pleased. From the moment we had our first conversation he was very helpful, professional and efficient. We spoke that next day he took all my information and submitted everything right away. In less than 3 weeks I was having the meeting with the Creditors and he explained all the steps to me beforehand to prepare me for the meeting. Everything went so smooth with the meeting I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Shortly after, soon as the Discharge was recorded he called me right away to let me know. A month later we attended the Meeting Of Creditors together and everything went smoothly in court. Antonio Pagan did a great job. I hired this attorney to try and collect an unpaid balance for work we performed. I gave him a $500.00 deposit and never heard from him again. It's been 3 months and i'm still waiting. I have called his office countless times and he has never had the decency to return my calls or much less do anything for what I hired him to do. Don't use him he will rip you off.
