I am a person who never comments on reviews but with Danny Gunn being lawyer, I have to. Danny has an amazing knowledge of our judicial system. He is honest,a straight shooter, and a mastermind who doesn't miss any detail big or small. He has endless energy working on cases and will fight like hell for you. I appreciated, from the point when Danny accepted my case, the close personal attention and genuine care for my well being he had. After being charged, Danny really talked to me objectively and was patient with me, and called me on my negative thinking. A true honest attorney who works for you to get what you need, and he certainly was more experienced than the crown or police he faced. They see him coming for sure! Danny Gunn saved my life, literally! I was arrested twice, charged with 3 indictable offences Each one carrying a max sentence of 14 years AND deportation!! After spending many years watching defense lawyers in the Courtroom, I knew the only call I would be making was to Danny. When he agreed to take my case I felt like I could start to breathe again and knew that if anyone could take this on and get me the best outcome possible it would be him. With Danny you get the whole package..he gets that defending someone isn’t just about knowing the Law...it’s an art form and he is definitely an artist! No matter when or how I contacted him, I would always be amazed at how quickly he got back to me...and when he did, he always brought everything back into perspective. The best criminal defence lawyer. If you're ever in trouble with the law call Danny Gunn ASAP he is truly the best lawyer. Fare and honest he will do anything in his power to prove your innocents. He is absolutely incredible at his work. He’s not only a great lawyer, most importantly a great person and it shows. Best decision I made was having Danny Gunn represent my criminal case. My advice to anyone reading this do the same, if you care about your freedom.

His retainer and costs are worth every cent for the job he does. Very good in communicating throughout. In many cases with lawyers, you get what you pay for, in Danny's case, you get far more. Danny has complete control of the court room and his respect is evident throughout trial proceedings. Danny's knowledge, preparation, cross examination and vocabulary during closing arguments sends a message; he can relate to you in both 'lawyer language' and basic vocabulary in order to send the message across. The communication and availability between himself and client is second to none. There is nothing negative I can say about Danny Gunn and his ability as a lawyer! He was very straight forward with me, always returned my calls and was present himself for all of my court proceedings. Yes without a doubt if you find yourself in need of defence he is the guy you need to call! But beyond all of that Danny made me feel like more than just a client, he genuinely cares for the ppl he defends and there family. He made me feel safe which in the world In which he defends is a rare thing to have never mind purchase but when hiring Danny gunnn that’s what I was able to do buy safety cuz having him I knew good or bad this was how I was gonna get the best outcome. And not to my surprise I did, trial was scheduled for 5 days and he was able to get the verdict we wanted in 3!???? So if your reading this and are looking for a lawyer look no further cuz Danny will get the results you want and do so while making you feel comfortable and at ease!

I couldn't say a single bad thing about danny, right from the get go he replied to emails and texts quickly, he didn't sugar coat anything and he immediately calms you down with support, you really feel you have the right guy in your corner. And then when he steps into the court room it is really where you can begin to understand just how educated this man is. I would recommend him any day and everyday of the week. Well done Danny

They say u get what u pay for.. yes that is the truth.. Danny wasn't cheap but very knowledgeable and didn't sugar coat****.. He will tell you exactly and always be honest with him because he doesn't like when his clients lie to him..a good client/ lawyer relationship should be about honesty anyways..I had this man twice in Ontario and I can tell you he is the best from where I am in Thunder bay area.. there are none like this man there..he got me out on bail when in fact the Federal Crown didn't want to release me.. he is the BEST money can get.. I will continue to suggest this damn good lawyer to alot of other people that I know that come from Ottawa and Toronto area when they eventually get arrested in thunder bay.

Danny is the Winnipeg dream team he got me bail when I was falsely charged and I was proven innocent. I recommend Danny over any other lawyer because he works harder, he actually returns calls and is honest even if it's not what you want to hear, he won't lead you on then fail you. But when every other lawyer said my case was unbeatable Danny Gunn beat my case.

He was perfect. Won all for objections he raised, knew the case law down pat ( self defense). Got the 'victim' to like him and then led him to admit they provoked it. Extremely good way with both the judge and the procecutor. My son would be in jail right now if we had an average lawyer ( like the procecutor). Very nice guy, funny. He is busy so don't expect him to be preparing for trial till a couple weeks before it starts. He is expensive, because he is in demand. He is one of the preferred lawyers for the Hells Angels, which is a good sign. They are not stupid people when it comes to the law. Retainer starts at $7000 so be prepared for sticker shock. But don't be stupid and go for a lawyer that also does real estate. You really do get what you pay for.
