Attorney Mitchell Cohen is the worst I have ever dealt with! Filing for bankrupcy in Sept 2011, paying in full and finding out in July 2012 that my case has been closed due to him not filing the B23 Debtors Certificate of completion. I have called his office hundreds of times since the beginning of this process, never getting a returned phone call once.His receptionist is awful and unprofessional. He had messed up every part of this process, by not even getting the court date set up till 6 months after we were done with the paperwork. Now 4 months after calling him to get the B23 paperwork to the court to complete the process he has given me every excuse under the sun,my internet was down,the court lost it,I can't find it,did you give it to me?idk whats GOING ON BUT I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS MAN IS STILL IN BUSINESS!I called the court and have to file a motion on my own to reopen my case and submit my document and the court was not surprised when I told them my attorney was MITCHELL COHEN |

No communication,had tochase him down to get in contact.Never returned phone messages or emails. Waited over 7 months to file after he received retainer fee (not inlcuding the several months doing paperwork to figure out my financial capabilities.)Time elapsed required me to submit several documents numerous times including credit counseling which I had to pay for. Documents which he did not bother to look over since he again asked me "what I could afford" 10 minutes before my 451 meeting,which he told me the wrong date and time for.At my 451 meeting he had not filed my plan which caused a continuance(and clearly annoyed the trustee) and further delayed my financial relief.He deposited a check given to him almost a year later causing my bank account to become negative and leaving me without money for an entire week.Chosing him as my lawyer was the worst mistake I ever made in my life. |
