I was in a very bad custody situation when I contacted Mr. Burns (referred to me by family). Nigel didn't promise me the world, just that we would not go down without a fight. We fought, boy did we fight. The professionalism that was shown and the compassion that was extended to me and my family was what I would not expect from a "lawyer" but from a family member. If someone were looking for a lawyer to represent them and treat them like a real person and not just a dollar sign, look no further. Nigel Burns, a compassionate human being...and a lawyer. |

I was referred to Nigel by a friend of mine, who raved about him.Nigel and his staff were a Godsend!I showed up at his office the week before court,with a heap of court documents that I couldn't make any sense of and the possibility that I may lose visitation with my three children.He made himself available to me through his cell phone and email,and promptly responded to any questions I had.He didn't promise me the world or a over zealous outcome,yet,he was honest and said we are facing a uphill battle.What he did promise me was that he would fight for my rights as a mother who dearly loves her children.He and his staff worked with me one on one preparing my Response and when my court day came a week later,he swiftly fought for what was mine.I walked out of court with all my visitation rights restored and then some!Most of all,I walked out with my head held high! Reuniting with my children would never have been possible without the help of Nigel and his caring staff. THANK YOU! |

Just want to thank the law firm of Nigel Burns for the results they produced for me. I had a legal matter and was really stressed out. Mr Burns took the time to discuss my options and when he handled my case I could not have asked for a better result. Nigel was refer to me by another lawyer. Nigel and his lawyer Erin has been working real hard on my case. Nigel is very polite and courteous during the entire legal process. I recommend Nigel and his team to anyone who needs help with legal issues. |

This past Christmas I went through a rather trying and emotional event regarding the visitation of my daughter and her father over the holiday season. My ex husband did not want to agree on an acceptable visitation schedule that would allow my daughter the opportunity of sharing the holidays with both families. When the two of us became dead locked and unable to work out a plan I became worried and had the slightest idea of what to do I turned to Mr. Burns two days before Christmas. Mr. Burns addressed my concerns immediately and came up with an action plan that addressed the issues at hand. Mr. Burns is knowledgeable, fair and honest when providing guidance. He worked aggressively on my behalf and through his mediation my ex husband and I were able to resume communication and come to an agreement acceptable to both of us. No other lawyer would have went the extra mile for me especially 2 days before Christmas. I am thankful for the hard work of Mr. Burns and his staff. |

Nigel Burns has been my savior. Everyone on his team, including himself, is respectful, professional, exceptionally hard-working and overall wonderful. When I was going through the hardest time of my life, and felt like I had no way out, he came out of the blue and helped me. I will be forever grateful, and always have 100% trust and respect for him. He is the kind of lawyer that will go out of his way and fight until the last minute for you. Never once, did he leave me in the dark, worried throughout my case. His speed of response is extraordinarily fast and he must me one of the few lawyers out there with great morals and working ethic. He deserves every penny he earns and in the future if myself, or anyone I know, ever needs a lawyer he will be my one and only stop! |

Nigel Burns defines the term "advocate." He is knowledgeable, thorough, thoughtful, caring, compassionate, communicative, and realistic. He is particularly good with juries. Judges all seem to respect him. He has a commanding presence that is well earned. |

Nigel and his staff have been great. It's hard to find an attorney really willing to fight, as opposed to do the minimum and just get their pay. They are ferocious and the other side has no place to hide. I am so overly impressed I had to write this review as I am in the process of wrapping up a pre-trial settlement that Nigel negotiated. I couldn't be happier. |

I was very worried about the charges I had against me and the possible jail time I was going to face. Nigel and his lawyers put my mind to ease. They went above and beyond my expectations and had my charges reduced. If I ever need services from a Lawyer I can't imagine going with any other law firm. They took care of everything I needed for my case. I really appreciate everything they did for me. Threw out the whole process of my case I was completely confident that they where working on and giving my case all the attention it needed. I cant thank them enough and definitely recommend them to anyone who is in need. |

I cannot say enough positive things about this lawyer. Unfortunately, when a jury or judge rules against someone's case they tend to blame the lawyer. I have had a good experience with him and his staff. |

I lost a good case. Argued a lot without substance. Did not pay attention when preparing jury instructions and verdict form. I lost a case of $1.5 million dollars plus he took $80,000 or so. On top this, the other party got a judgment against me for costs of $50,000 plus they filed a malicious prosecution case against me. |

This lawyer has cost me thousands of dollars and produced nothing. After switching to a knowledeable attorney, my entire case has turned around in my favor. This man acts as though he does not even have a license to practice law. His billing system is very confusing, and I have a hunch it heavily favors him getting money that he does not have coming to him. Stay away if you want to win your case! |
