Martha McQuade has provided absolutely superb service to my family and I over the period of 13 years. I trust her completely, as she has the highest of ethical standards. Over the years, she has shown genuine concern for my family in three adverse situations, and her legal knowledge, instincts for the right actions and presence of mind have "carried the day" for us in each of these situations. She is always poised and composed in the most difficult situations,inspiring confidence in us, as we faced unsubstantiated legal challenges on our resources. I found this woman to be the worst of what lawyers have a reputation for being. Her outrageous billing added insult to my injury, and I felt more like I was serving her rather than the other way around. Perhaps worst of all, she didn't seem to have any grasp of the "big picture" in my case. She seemed much more comfortable and happy to deal with the minute details of visitation schedules (which takes many billable hours) rather than ways in which I could keep the house where said visitation would happen. It was one of the worst "professional" relationships I've ever had. |
