This attorney took $6400.00 from us and did absolutely nothing. After 1 1/2 year of paying $600.00 mthly we stopped paying. He immediately dropped us. Within 3 wks from filing for a loan modification with them, we were served with foreclosure of our property. He told us that he would lower our mortgage loan balance and nothing was ever done. On the other hand, they were very happy to see us with the payments. In the 1 1/2 year that they "represented" us, they did absolutely nothing. Nothing was filed in court at all. This law firm is a total SCAM. Do not give them one dollar. I'm a stay at home mom of 3 children, my husband is the sole source of income. We do not have any money to throw away. If we would have known about all of this, we could have filed for a loan modification ourselves. Now it's too late to file. It's been too long, our debts are too large. alos and assoc what a rip off they also told me I needed to stop paying then the foreclosure papers came 1/2/2010 he took 500 hundred dollars each month. In july i stop payment he went to court dropped me and now still is demanding 1,600 my new attorney told me he had answered the foreclosure in january and didnt do anything else hes a laugh and i wonder how many people he has ripped off? every time i would go to office he had people in line waiting to pay and if they saw you making conversation they would call you in right away so u couldnt find out or inform any one if they had sucess with alos. To that person who wants to go to help me Howard lets get together Im sure he has robbed people left and right. |

This guy is a total dushbag. Compete unprofessioanl everytime I see the billboards and him on TV I want I get to angry. He sold me a apt that and screwed me with hidden fees and made me choose his lawfirm for the closing. I paid 170K and it is now worth 35K. (I know my fault) but still he is a crook. |

This lawyer is not serious about his job, his suggestion is to do a foreclosure of course that is not his house!!!.
I came to made a loan Mod's, NOW I LOOSE MY HOUSE!!! Avoid him all cost. |

Worst customer service ever. The staff is extremely unprofessional, and when you leave a message do not expect them to return your call. Definitely I would not recommend their services. |

I started modifying my loan in May 2009 and have had the similar experiance as the other two post above. I paid him $700 to start and one month later he also adv me that by being behind I would get more priority on my modification. Its now 14 months later and I decided to call my bank directly to see what has been done. I was adv that my Mod was declined on 2/2009. This was my original loan modification I submitted on my own without his assistance. When I asked for records of any loan mod packages send with representation they advised me they have not received anything. Originally when I signed up with him he gave me his personal phone number to contact him directly prior to any TV exposure. When I called him he asked me why I was calling him on his personal phone. I adv him that I was his client and he treated me as if I was a debt collector. Month to date he has a $700 Deposit from me and a $500 a month totaling $7,200. Help me Howard here I come. |

I was in their offices a year ago, I was up to date with my payments, after 3 months Mr. Alos told me I must be behind in my payments to be considered for Loan Mod's, He offered me to do a Loan Mod's in 3 months,I paid him $1000, during that year they never contated me, every month I was calling them to find out and to give them the financial updates, they have the worst customer services I know of, he is only looking for you get a foreclosure, He is not willing to help you, He is appearing on TV shows saying bs, only he has a good reputation appearing in TV shows on Telemundo or Univision, but they already know his bad reputation for that he never will be invited again. I loosing my money, my time and MY HOUSE. Honestly I would not recommend this attorney. |

Alos & Associates are money hungry and don't really care about their client. Their loan modification does not work! You pay $900 to become their client, they suggest that a loan modification is often given more priority if you stop making payments on your mortgage. They tell you the process may take 1-2 months and once the bank sends a modification plan and you agree to the new payments, you then pay another $600.00 to Alos. They never call or email to communicate your case with you. Next thing you know, 3-4 months pass by and you receive a foreclosure notice due to not making loan payments. You make an appointment with them to see if they can assist you but then they want you to pay them $600.00 a month for foreclosure assistance. It doesn't make any sense because you were avoiding foreclosure in the first place thats why you sought a loan modification. Your house is at a loss now all due to bad legal advice. Avoid this place at all cost! A pure scam! |
