I have not had good experience with lawyers in the past. When I walked into Attorney Beard's office, my life had been ruined by a terrible divorce where my attorney for the divorce did more for my ex-wife than for me. I let my troubles get the best of me, and I lost all of my visitation with my children. I wasn't looking forward to dealing with another lawyer, but the experience I had with Mr. Beard was far different than my previous attorney. I needed my kids back and Mr. Beard told me everything that I needed to do to clean my life up and prepare for court. In the courtroom, Attorney Beard wasn't afraid to stand up to the other attorney and he blew holes through my ex-wife's accusations against me when Attorney Beard dragged her up to the witness stand and made her look foolish. Now, I have my kids back, I'm paying less child support, and I have more time with my kids than I ever had before. My life a lot better as a result of his involvement in my case. |

I chose Alan as my lawyer to represent me in my child custody/visitation case. He talked in our initial consultation as though he would really fight for what I wanted. As my case evolved, I lost trust in him because he would never return calls and he thought my concerns were senseless. I thought he was to help me. Then 1 week before going to court, he up and quit on me, saying he had tripled his fee, cause he took my case as a flat rate. I think he didn't fight for me cause he chose the flat fee and my case went longer than he thought. I would not recommend his services to anyone.. |

Mr. Beard took our very difficult case on, and hasn't looked back since. When we were not represented the way we felt we had needed to be; Alan met and exceeded all of our expectations. He is truly an excellent lawyer, and I highly recommend him. |

After experiencing the worst lawyer, im now experiencing the best. Alan took charge of my case before our consultation ended. He made sure that my husbands attorney did not take advantage of me and once he was on case, she pretty much backed down. His years of experience really shows in his work. He is very organized and keeps an open line of communication at all times. Finally a lawyer that returns phone calls and does not force you into bankruptcy with his fees. He really understands that divorce is difficult emotionally and financially and strives to eliminate all the stress by providing aggressive representation at a reasonable rate. |
