I would not recommend this guy to anyone who honestly feels he/she has a valid case and who is seeking to win. This lawyer took loads of my money and with little to no communication had the audacity to charge me unnecessarily for e-mails that I never got. It seemed as though he sided with the opposing side and said absolutely nothing in my defense during the deposition. He repeatedly made more than small talk with the opposing sides' lawyer about a mutual coworker and failed to convey unity during the course of the attorney-client relationship. BOTTOM-LINE: STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY. BECAUSE HE IS MONEY HUNGRY PERSON WITH LITTLE TO NO INTENT ON HELPING THE HONEST HARD WORKING CLIENT.
This is our first time to use a lawyer here in the US.. but unfortunate for us we ended up with Mr. James Becker. We are never pleased with his counsel for he didnt provide his best effort in giving us right options. He is NOT proactive as a counsel for he just waits for us to follow him up with the updates etc. His personality is not approachable; too serious for a good lawyer. Missed a lot of issues that are important in the documents, justifies his mistakes in his communications. We feel he sides more on the other party and their lawyer than us. When he explains things, he is too verbatim and confusing the way he explain. He doesnt establish good rapport with his clients. I think he can do better but I will never recommend nor use him. again. Our advise is shop around esp in TN we later found out that there are lots of great lawyers who connects with their client really well. We wasted money with this lawyer. If you can avoid hiring a lawyer the better for youll end up paying more!
