I hired mr. abdallah in august, 2011. first the initial cousultation was 20 min. and $450. He said he could help me with my real estate situation. He laid out a plan. I paid him another $4500 retainer fee. a week later, an associate called me and said he was taking over the case. the man was very unprofessional. i told mr. abdallah that i did not trust the gentleman who had only received his law degree 2 months earlier. Mr. abdallah assured me that he would be on top of my case and that this associate was just getting the case prepared and that he would negotiate with the bank. I had delivered all documents requested in mid august. In mid september, i heard nothing from abdallah law and when i called i was told that the bank had been contacted and my case was progressing. another month went by and i heard nothing. i called again and was told that i needed to have a conference call in three days with this associate and abdallah. After rehashing the same information again, mr |

After my husband's death, I hired Mitchell Abdallah to help administer my husband's estate. He was able to negotiate a favorable outcome under tenuous circumstances. I am very pleased with the results, and would highly recommend him and his law firm. Eleanor. |

I was recently faced with losing my home when I called Mitchell Abdallah. he took on my case and saved my home swiftly. Mitch tackled some very difficult legal real estate issues and was always available when I needed to speak with him. He is a very good attorney and I would highly recommend him. |

Beware of this attorney. We went through arbitration, which ruled in our favor for some of our money to be returned to us. We received a check for the settlement amount from his law office. The check bounced and we have not received our money yet. We lost a large sum of money dealing with this person and his law firm. |

YES... BEWARE!!! This man did damage that still resonates through my life today. He started a reorganization for me and then said some things were submitted incorrectly and that it must be dropped and reopened. As he shared some whiskey with me in his office he exclaimed that his staff does all the work and he’s just the pretty face with the nice suit that sways the judge… I have witnesses. He was supposed to do the reopening on the same day and 3 days later my bank account was stripped of every cent by a bank that held the mortgage for one of my properties... I WAS WIPED OUT!! I lost 7 properties, 2 oceanfront houses, a Tahoe house, airplane, and a Ferrari from this man’s bad advice; about 6M$ in all slipped through my hands. I asked for my 25K$ back and he said” I can’t give you what I don’t have”.. I sued him and got it back in full. Cut a wide path around this SOB he will take your money with a nice smile and then do everything but work on your case. BEWARE!!! |

Beware! Abdallah gained my confidence and virtually did nothing on my case. I paid him $4,000 to file suit a year ago and he sat on my case until I made several phone calls and finally showed up in person to demand my money back. He was available to talk when I had a check in my hand, but after that he passed my calls to his paralegal and had nothing to say. His frequent office relocation tells me he is cash strapped. I think my money went to his wardrobe because the court's website shows him being sanctioned for failing to maintain my lawsuit. Now I have to sue him for taking my money and get another lawyer to take over my case. |

I worked for Mitch Abdallah long enough to know he should not be "practicing law." If his clients only knew what happened to their files after they met with Mitch and forked over a bunch of money... He has very little legal skill and hires independent attorneys outside his law practice to do the simplest legal writing. He tries to orchestrate so he won't have to do any actual work himself. I was fired when I started speaking up about his way of doing business. (He once asked me how I would handle a certain client's probate matter and I told him I would suggest that the client hire a probate attorney.) When one client asked for a refund of unused retainer money, Mitch asked me and others what we could do to add costs/fees to the client's bill so we would not have to return any retainer. When another client had a fee dispute with Mitch, he asked a secretary to create a document that had been billed for but was not anywhere to be found. |

We hired this firm 2 years ago and have been extremely dissatisfied with the lack of progress. We were told things such as serving notice will be done in 2 weeks, only to find out they still hadn't served after 2 months. We were informed in writing that their firm would provide "a letter detailing the status of our case, as well as all progress made..." We have never received ONE piece of mail regarding this, ever! The only thing consistently we've received is a non detailed bill wanting money. After paying over $5000. and over 2 years we haven't even got our time in a court room to try to get back money from a property deal rip off. We have fired this firm and of course they want an additional, almost $6000. they say they have earned. I would highly recommend going to anyone but them. The real danger is they are personable and likable which can draw your guards down. Beware of them, they do not deliver on any commitments and they charge a lot of money for that privilege. |
