I would recommend Gus to anyone who has a financial crisis of any kind and are looking for a way out. He is the most understanding and easy to understand lawyer I have ever encountered. Very knowledgeable,and would refer him to anyone who is need of a bankruptcy attorney. Hiring Gus was one of the best decisions Ive ever made |

I was very happy with the service Mr. Markwell provided. He was very knowledgeable in all aspects of my case. The communication was second to none, he was always very prompt and understanding in returning my calls. My case turned out exactly as he described it should go. I would highly recommend Mr. Markwell if you have a need for a bankruptcy lawyer. |

Markwell was awesome. He's pricey, but more than worth it. He'd usually be back to you the day after you call, takes his time to answer your questions and make sure that you know your options, and he lays out exactly what is most likely to happen with each. Just the fact that he actually took the time, and appeared to be interested in my case when he was talking to me, is turning out to be a hard quality to find in a family law attorney. If I ever need a lawyer in his field again, Markwell is where I'd go. |

Guss in one word "GIFT" I was absolutly blessed To recieve the councel of charles markwell as a pro bono attorney because of a conflict of interest in a case i was involved in. My charges are not relevent in this matter and I can honestly say I was blessed the day my papper work hit his desk for what would be mydark future turned a little brigher. Not only did i send gus christmas card from prison during my three year sentence turned 15 months in his hands, I personally thanked the prosicuting attorney when i was sentenced I have so much faith in gus I signed my plea agreement withot looking at the offer I asked if he got the best dea possible with the answer of yes I signed not knowing my fate. This is a true story sound crazy i have shook my head a time or two looking back but would do it again in a sec. Gus is the most up standing person I have ever met a true gentelman and honest lawyer thatwill fight till the end. gus i would wak into battle anytime for ya. thanks annonamous. |

I was charged with felony vehicular assault and Mr. Markwell fought my case as if I were the only person on the planet. He was extremly thorough, competent, and tenacious. He helped me to understand my options, and was there with me every step of the way. I would not hesitate to refer family and friends to him should the occasion arise. The more important issue is Mr. Markwells personability. He made himself available to me 24/7 and not just for legal issues. He took and earnest interest in my personal life, and family. To this day I can call Mr. Markwell about various topics and I know I will get an honest strait forward answer and I have yet to receive a bill for these little chats. Charles Markwell represented me in a "no win" trial. Two county sheriffs, in an attempt to cover up assaulting me, concocted a story in order to shut me up by sending me to jail on made up charges.
I had no witnesses to support my side, two uniformed officers that were lying, and even my closest friends said I was going to jail.
Markwell laid out a line of defense to rival a Perry Mason case. He methodically lured the cops into admitting they had assaulted me, and that they were trying to frame me to cover it up.
Markwell also, in court, established an admission of the two officers' conduct that will aid my civil attorney in a subsequent lawsuit.
Mr. Markwell is a bright light in our dismal legal criminal system, and I highly recommend him to anyone! |

Mr. Markwell was used for a criminal defense in 2005 and his integrity is an insult to our criminal justice system. His work ethics are questionable and his dedication is only to himself with little to no regard for the true defense of any client. It is attorneys like Mr. Markwell that shame our system. You would be better off representing yourself. |
