Dana was hired in January for a custody agreement change. He collected a $1500 retainer fee and made a lot of promises. It took 6 months to get the summons for the custody change and HE COULDN'T HAVE IT SERVED FOR ME! After 6 months of him ignoring questions, evading questions, and having an overall non-responsive approach, I had him Fed-Ex the summons to me so I could have it served. Keep in mind, it took him over 6 months just to create the summons for a request for change in custody...just the request! And he couldn't get it served even though I advised him multiple times where the recipient would be. I realized quickly that he was not going to be the type of lawyer I needed so I fired him. It was a mistake to hire him in the first place. I learned a $1500 lesson! |

Hired Mr McLendon for divorce case, he failed to call any of the witnesses I gave him for my case,nor did he use or even present any of the evidence in my case. He must have finincial problems also because he constantly wanted more money form me even after collecting retainer fees. I have never had an attorney constantly hound me for more & more money during a case. all other attorneys that I have hired were paid a retainer and then balance at the end of case. He also quit in the middle of the case because I would not pay him any more money until he produced some results, which he never did. I paid him over 7,000,00 dollars and got nothing accomplished. I also had over 6 set hearings set with this attorney in court and never got anything heard by Judge, of coarse he charged for all this wasted time. |
