This man is despicable-do not waste your time or hard earned money retaining him. He's all about getting your money, and doing nothing for you. He drug out my case, and did not represent me or my daughter worth a darn. He made decisions without consulting me first-including an affidavit for a court date that I wasn't made aware of until after it happened. There is little to no communication and he was very condisending and down right rude. Please do yourself a favor and do not use Kelly for legal representation! |

I strongly warn anyone against retaining this gentleman. After Kelly gets your check, he practically forgets your name, and definitely forgets your telephone number. I was finally forced to spend thousands more of my savings to retain another firm after no action whatsoever was taken in my case. Unbelievably disappointing. I was also charged for telephone calls that never took place- I guess they decided taking my money and not helping me wasn't bad enough, they had to pad the bill. I told everyone in my support group and at my office to NEVER use Kelly Shattuck for anything, and I am glad I have the opportunity to tell others on this site. |

Kelly is amazing. He believed in me when I could not find an attorney to represent me. I am a female and I felt he was honest and fought hard for my son and I. I got full custody. |

Terrible communication, condescending attitude, is not pro-active - I had to continually get on him to get things done and then he still gave me the "I don't know what you want me to do" response. If I emailed questions they would go unanswered. I never knew the status of my case. His staff and the other lawyer I worked with in the office were very helpful. Not satisfied with him at all and let him go. My next lawyer was much more willing to fight for me and communicate the way I needed. |

I can't even start to explain how awful he is. I agree, he will tell you everything you want to hear in your consultation. After that, expect no communication. The guy didn't even show up for my court date. I got called up to the stand without any representation. I cannot emphasize enough not to use this law firm. Not only is he unprofessional, but his staff has no idea what they are doing as well. |

Kelly is the second Lawyer I have retained in the past 11 years. If I would have had him when I first got divorced I wouldn't have had to get a lawyer 11 years later and I would have custody of my kids! All attorneys cost money, that is just a fact. You get what you pay for and I am grateful I chose Kelly. |

I went to him about 2-3 weeks ago and my case is now done. I'm not sure people realize that a lawyer is only as good as the case that YOU provide them with - mine was rock solid. I was honest with him, he was honest with me. A lawyer isn't supposed to tell you what you want to hear, and you might be surprised to know that if you bring in every single thing they need in order to represent you, then they will. From the sound of it, I'm getting money back from my retainer too - I've NEVER heard of a lawyer doing that!! His prices are normal too. |

He said everything I wanted to hear before I wrote the big check out. He was terrible with follow up and I feel as though he forgot about my case, even sending me letters with the wrong client name... He did little work on my case and did not fight for me and drug a simple case out for over a year, he even frustrated the other attorney for taking so long. For the little work he did, he way overcharged. I would not recommend using this attorney. It's really too bad that hard working people seeking legal counsel, spending big money that takes forever to save, is taken by someone who does very little to earn it. |

Terrible service and communication. He did absolutely nothing for my case, in fact I would go a couple of months without hearing from him, when I called or emailed to find out what was going on, then he would finally do something. Don't waste your money, I would have been better off representing myself. |
