Attorney Byers represented me in my divorce, which lasted for over a year. I can speak to his courtroom skill, negotiating manner & his rapport with clients. I was in a marriage that was physically & emotionally abusive. He was dangerous to me & my children. Mr. Byers helped me by filing court papers & presenting a restraining order to remove the constant threat my husband posed. He prepared with my input a complaint for divorce & other court documents that allowed for the financial support of my family. He also negotiated an agreement that was suitable for the court & very favorable to me. He never misstated a fact or misled me or the court. I was lucky to find one of the brightest & most compassionate attorneys in MA to protect me & my kids. Mr. Byers let me through a very difficult time in my life & I'm grateful for his tireless efforts. I highly recommend him to anyone who must endure this process. I'm shocked by the criticisms as my experience with Mr. Byers was entirely positive. |

I fully agree with the previous statement. I am just glad I got out before I was completely broke. Over 4 months he created lots of communication which resulted in nothing happening and it cost me 8K. |

Avoid this attorney at all cost. He takes advantage of his own clients (see Vinci v. Byers), lies to judges, disobeys judges direct orders, he intentionally files motions to refuse visitation which is at least 1 case resulted in a suicide, lies about child support, all to create fees for himself. He should be disbarred for multiple violations. Talk to anyone in Essex Cty courts where they know his antics. He is a disgrace to the legal profession |
