He is the worst lawyer I ever met. My boyfriend has been in jail for almost two years. All Cornwell tell us he is waiting to talk to the proscuter. I have to call him 20 times a day because he won't call you back. My boyfriend has to write letters to the judge before Cornwell responds. I hate his guts. He never went over my baby rights, charges, never came to see him nothing. He wont do anything for him. Cornwell was appoint to him by the courts and treat him like****. BAD BAD BAD lawyer stay away from him!!!!
This guy is considered the best in the Johnson County area and it becomes apparent after you meet him. He has a reputation as a pitbull and he loves to goto trial, he enjoys it. In my case he just absolutely devastated the prosecutions case but did it without bullying the witnesses and they did not know what hit them. He is not the least expensive but I found out he will take his clients circumstances into account when setting his fees. He is also too damn honest, he has been known to literally chase his own clients down if they skip bail or run and once he chased his own client down the street outside the courthouse because the guy fled his own trial. He will not lie for you, he has too much integrity and that is important since it it also assures you he will not try to screw you. If you have an issue, he is worth meeting when picking your lawyer.
