She has so many complaints with the Texas Bar they hit her with a public reprimand on 3/4/2002. The State Bar does not give these out very often. Check out their site. My mother used Linda in a divorce proceeding years ago in Collin County and she said it was her biggest mistake. Linda went after my father for things my mother said no to. She is ruthless and it huts both sides. I have since mentioned her name to other attorneys that I know personally and they all had a negative review of her. One attorney told me that not too many attorney will take a case against her because she is crazy. When my mother fired her as her attorney she west after my mother with inflated bills. Luckily mom kept records of every time she talked to Linda and took it to the firm parters she was working for. The partners acknowledged her bahavior and quickly dismissed the bill. Find an attorney that works well with other attorneys and your divorce will be much better off.
Linda Aland is a great lawyer in the courtroom and a genuinely good person outside the courtroom. She was fantastic! I am very, very pleased with everything she did - start to finish. Linda represented me in a case where I know other lawyers couldn't have done anything close to what she could do. She makes the complicated things simple and she's very persuasive. I wouldn't hire any other lawyer to litigate. Linda's knowledge of the law is keen and her work quality is second to none.
