Mr. Franke represented me in a family law matter and displayed a general lack of knowledge of the substantive law in this field. One egregious omission was the failure to inform me of key statutes that would have greatly benefited my case had I been made aware of them. While Mr. Franke appeared coopertative, he was also not assertive vis-a-vis the opposing party's attorney due to prior history with the latter and what appeared as a desire to appease the latter. He also condoned an acknowleged instance of judge shopping by opposing counsel which appeared to ultimately benefit both Mr. Franke and the opposing counsel. While Mr. Franke's hourly rate is reasonable, what he accomplished during his billable hours was questionable. |
