Jake Donovan is personable, caring and confident. He took care of my case in 2006, advised me in what I needed to do for the case, never promised me a thing, answered all my questions, PERSONALLY and PROMPTLY RETURNED ALL my PHONE CALLS, told me what I would be facing, and how it was going to go down...with uncertainty right up until the 11th hour (serious charges) he came through for me. I will be FOREVER grateful for his services.
I went to John Donovan in Cromwell and had an excellent experience. I believe he is involved mainly with criminal defense but his partner and he both cover many other areas too. I was charged with a crime and he told me EXACTLY STEP BY STEP what to do in the courtroom. He was honest and told me I would recieve a minimum sentence regardless of what he or anyone else could do. He DIDNT CHARGE ME or try to lie and take my money knowing I didn't have a loophole in my case. Another lawyer told me it would cost 2 thousand to defend me and I would have had the same result!! Donovan saved me alot of money and stress. MOST OF ALL HE IS HONEST! He will tell you yoru situation and if he can be of service, if he can't he will tell you and not try to milk you for all you have. Highly recommended. He also helped defend two other individuals I know and both recommended me to him as he did an excellent job for them too.
