Luckily this man has resigned from the California Bar, but I'm putting this in here just in case he ever resurfaces. This man took $25,0000.00 from us, lied to us, and then went bankrupt and never told us. (I found out when I called him and the phone has been disconnected!) We are from New England, and one of his staff assured us that we would be assigned a lawyer who was licensed to practice in our state. When it came time for them to fly here and represent us, we found out they WEREN'T licensed to practice in our state. Basically, they were acting as a referral service; we ended up with a lawyer who we had never met and who I didn't like (showed up to court after riding his bicycle there; sweat stains under his arms, hair messy, and he smelled of body odor.) They also claimed they ahd been named "Super Lawyer of 2006", but it turns out that was misleading too. Anyone can purchase a Super Lawyer certificate and put their name on it. We lost our life savings because of this man.
