He handled my divorce. He was alright until a month after we went to court it still wasn't final. He said it'd take 10 days. I'd call and get the run around. Once I even got him and he told me to call back b/c his secretary wasn't there so he couldn't look at my file. I had to fax him a letter to get answers. Two weeks later he realizes that the paperwork never got sent to the courts and blames it on his secretary. He finally got the papers signed and then charged me b/c he had to find the judge. If he would've done it right the first time he wouldn't have had to find the judge. On top of that he charged me $500 more than a friend I referred for the same thing. My ex never contested, never even showed up, so he said I'd receive a check when it was final. I made him mad though, so amazingly the hours added up to the exact amount I paid for the retainer. Including the $200+ I got charged for him having to find the judge for a mistake he made. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. |
