Jennifer Harris-Burns- Shes substandard at best. She was assigned to me by the courts as a Public Defender. At first she came to me promising the stars and the moon and then she vanished. She wouldn't return my calls or my letters. I at that point filed a complaint with the Judges office after which I did get a response from her. She informed me that she didn't have to speak with me but once before trial and that could be the day of also, in so many words told me that she would do the minimum required by law to assist me in my legal matters. I can honestly tell you that she is a Woman of her word in that sense. basically she did not see me until the day before my court date and said little to nothing in court. I ended up being charged with something that earlier, before I upset her, said that I shouldn't have been charged with at all. She does seem sweet at first, and tells you everything will be okay. But expect not to hear from her and if you upset her then good luck to you! |
