I didn't even know such lawyers were around anymore. Ms. Held and her staff are exceptional people. I had really been ripped off by my first lawyer in my divorce, but Ms. Held and her staff were a God send. I can never say enough, except I appreciate every thing they are doing for people. They do what they say and are honest with you upfront. That is unique for a lawyer in today's times. |

Margaret is my angel. She helped me to regain full custody of my child and she helped to give me my life back. I felt hopeless and like I was trapped in a never-ending nightmare before I was finally referred to Margaret. She is intelligent, driven, moral, knows the law, and will fight for you. I can never thank Margaret or her staff enough. I would never wish what I went through on anyone, but if you are in a terrible situation and need help, choose Margaret. |

Ms. Held worked hard to get a favorable conclusion to my case. She was honest with me about the possible outcomes and the chances of each, and she made/attempted all contacts in a timely and professional manner. |

I called around to different lawyers before I contacted Ms.Held's office. Some of the other lawyers wanted insane amounts of money up front because it was going to be a contested divorce. I was unsure of what to think of Ms. Held not offering free consultations, because I was afraid to get ripped off. I have to say that my consultation fee was money well spent. Ms. Held was able to work with my ex's lawyer and she turned my highly contested divorce into an agreed one and saved me more than money. She saved me my sanity. One more thing I'd like to add. If you fear the truth and don't like to be told how things really are, she may not be the lawyer for you. She is refreshingly honest and very direct. If she's feels that you have unrealistic expections of your case she'll tell you and not even mince words. I feel very lucky to have had her represent me. |

I rated Held Law firm a 5 in all catagories because of thier knowledge, dedication and persistance. They are very friendly as well. They returned my calls quickly, answered my questions with honesty and went out of thier way to keep my bill low, going so far as to telling me what things I could do myself to save me money. |

I had one of the types of cases where everything takes a really long time. That's to be expected when you have a workplace discrimination lawsuit. Ms. Held was upfront about how long my case could take to go through the courts. This is in stark contrast to another lawyer who promised me it would only take a couple of weeks. Yeah, right. After months of waiting, I fired him and hired Held Law Firm. My case did take awhile because of the courts and dealing with the EEOC, but the Held law firm staff was made sure to give me weekly updates. Eventually it was settled out of court because of the overwhelming evidence I was able to aquire, and the great investigative work of the firm's staff. I hope I never have to go through this again, but God forbid that I do, I know who to hire. |

GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH TO MARGARET & YOUR STAFF! To anyone out there who is on the fence about hiring Margaret, DO IT! She cost me less than my previous attorney, she did more work than my previous attorney and she helped me through the most heart wrenching time in my life. She went above and beyond in getting my problem fixed. If it wasn't for her I would have went nuts. THANK YOU SO MUCH! My whole family loves you, and you will always be in our hearts. If anyone out there has a difficult custody issue and doesn't know where to turn, just know Margaret will go out of her way to help you. |

Best lawyer out there, other attorney's usually love her. Bad attorney's hate her because she makes them WORK! The bad rating on her comes from a psycho beast attorney she fought against and totally kicked her ass in court. |

Honest about her ability to get you what you want. If she thinks you can get it you probably will. If she thinks you are being unrealistic she tells you. Wonderful, down to earth personality. Reasonably priced. Always follows up, even if she's really busy. Encourages mediation to save you money. |
