Karen Divita was very professional with my case. Karen is awesome at questioning, and she completely exposed my ex-wife's lies and my ex-wife's manipulations designed to drain me financially. I got the best possible results because of Karen. I would highly recommend Karen Divita to anyone in a simple or difficult divorce case. |

Impossible to communicate with, does not answer her phone calls, slow to text or return a call and email is even difficult to get her to do. She often waits until the very last minute to do things and often can not find important papers and has to have client send duplicates. Not an aggressive lawyer. Very nice but just not what I hoped for. |

Ms. DiVita is an excellent lawyer. Highly educated and compassionate. Especially in dealing with sensitive cases, she supports her clients 100% and works diligently, building relationships, and utilizing her strong communication skills and knowledge of complicated Kansas law. I highly recommend using this lawyer, and am very pleased with my experience. I'm sorry to read the other reviews on this site, because I strongly disagree with them. It seems that sometimes peoples bitter feelings, especially in cases of divorce and child custody, might impact review sites like this- but if people look at the hard facts, Ms. DiVita is highly qualified. |

Does not return calls. Unorganized sloppy, unethical, always late, and not a good advocate for the client. I feel she has hidden charges and pads her time that she charges for. Rarely if ever prepared for court. Loses paperwork she is supposed to have. Will not admit her mistakes. Asked for itemization of charges will not provide this to me. Has never given me a complete itemized bill yet asked for more money. Never gave me a receipt for payment. She is not beyond selling out the client to short cut her work. |

She was horrible with returning phone calls. The billing was sporadic. She never showed up on time for my hearings. When my case was over she tried to charge me 4000.00 to prepare a document that another lawyer charged 300.00 to prepare. |

Ms. Divita is a highly intelligent attorney. Her work quality is excellent and she accurately predicts, based on her legal and psychological experience, opposing counsel's maneuvers. She has a lot of experience with complicated divorces involving custody issues and is a good attorney to use when domestic violence is an issue. Ms. Divita represents both men and women equally well and succeeds in assisting her clients because she cares about them and about the welfare of their children. |

How she earned her law degree, let alone pass her bar exam is beyond me. However, I have her "tenacity" level 5. Reason? She simply has convinced HERSELF that she is an excellent lawyer and will go to any links to prove her point. Point is, she does not have one. I wish Ethics were a criteria for rating. I think that I will send her the bible of law definition, Black Laws, with the ethics definition highlighted for her convenience. |

This lawyer never provided a billing statement and changed her hourly rate at least three times. She sympathized with my ex and got me the maximum penality. She was difficult to get ahold of and horrible at returning calls. She's been divorced two times and after using her for mine it appears she has a vendetta against men. DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER and good luck finding a lawyer you can trust. |
