Mr. Eckdish is truly a kind and very generous person,is extremely knowledgeable in both Criminal and Immig Law, he looks at all angles and explains everything. I am writing this to highly recommend Mr. Stephen Eckdish. He's a great immigration attorney and he helped me out twice.
The first time, he prepared by naturalization papers. Everything went smooth and super-fast, so I got my citizenship in less than 4 months ((San Francisco service center). He came with me to the interview as well, making sure that everything is going well.
The second time, I used Mr. Eckdish 's services in a matter related to an AOS procedure for an immediate relative. Again, everything was smooth and without any problems. He attended the AOS interview and his presence there was reassuring and invaluable in securing instant approval. Bottomline, my relatives got the green card approved in less then three months (again, processing took place at the San Francisco office).

My husband is from Barcelona, Spain (I am American) and we needed to go through the process of obtaining a green card. Stephen made the rigorous process go smoothly and in a very timely manner. We made it clear that we wanted to get things done as soon as possible, and four months after the filing date we already received it. My brother-in-law received a Notice to Appear from the Department of Home Land Security Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) informing him that he was ordered into Immigration Court removal proceedings based upon his Domestic Violence conviction that happened many years prior, even after his probation, educational classes and fines were completed. So we did some searching online for an immigration attorneys and Stephen Eckdish was of the three attorneys we decided to interview. The first two informed us that there was a good chance that they could get my brother-in-law a one time waiver and that was his only option and with no guarantees. This would have required my brother-in-law to go through a complicated and long Individual Court Hearing in which there would have been a real risk that he could have been deported.

I highly recommend Mr. Eckdish if you have an immigration issue/deportation issue. Mr. Eckdish won two of my relatives cases. They were serious cases. One was for voluntary manslaughter and one was for drug of sales. Both with past felony and misdemeanor history. After Mr. Eckdish's efforts, time and dedication, he won both cases. His dedication showed right at the beginning when he even met w/ us during the holiday weekend, because sometimes w/ immigration cases, time is of the essence. I considered myself lucky to have found Mr. Stephen Eckdish to represent me in immigration court. I would recommend Stephen Eckdish's services to anyone and everyone. I was in a dire situation where the US Government was trying to deport me for an 11 year old drug charge. I spoke with many different attorney's and all told me the same thing... there is no hope and you should just volunteer for self-removal. That is when I found Stephen and, very refreshingly, said he would take on my case and that all was not lost. I am writing this review to give my full vote of confidence to Stephen Eckdish for any immigration matter that you might have.I was very new to the complicated immigration process and very overwhelmed.He reassured me that he would help me and if I was patient and willing to put in the work that I would be able to bring my fiance to the States.He was very open to any questions I had.He was very prompt in returning calls and completing all things on time.He didn't just do the work for me, he made me understand what I was filing and explaining the importance of each document. Atty.Stephen Eckdish does the impossible to solve immigration/criminal problems. Without him, I'd be in removal proceedings. He persuaded USCIS that I'm not inadmissible despite my arrests/convictions by arguing that only one of my convictions was for a crime of moral turpitude. He proved I was eligible for petty offense exception & not deportable. Because of his expertise, I'm now a lawful permanent resident. Mr. Eckdish went the extra mile to help us. He personally presented legal authority to the supervisor in charge of the adjustment unit to show I'm eligible for green card. He's not just a lawyer; but, a friend of the family. He helped us through frustration/uncertainty, explained things clearly, answered questions so we actually understood. He's "real"--he's moving, or calm & cool, as needed. Stephen Eckdish is an immigration lawyer and criminal defense attorney and has decades of experience and taken on hundreds of cases. I randomly found him online after doing a search and retained him 2 years ago. Because immigration law is extremely complicated, I needed a good, tough, and aggressive lawyer with years of experience to represent me. And I'm glad I found Steve! Everyone's case is different and I'm not gonna go into details of what mine entailed (there are literally millions of ways that people can get screwed over or screw themselves over), but all I can say is it was the best decision I've ever made.
He's definitely busy and takes on multiple cases at a time. I've had trouble reaching him in the past, but ever since he acquired a few assistants (who btw are extremely knowledgeable, organized, and on top of things), everything has gone very smoothly. In May 2007 when i was charged with four (4) moral turpitude case and removable in pursuant to INA section 212(a)(2)(D)(i), my life turned upside down.
