Danya Grunyk and Assoc. were honest, forthright and efficient. Getting a divorce is not cheap so do not expect to go cheap on an attorney and get good representation. You get what you paid for but also remember that just because you paid alot for an attorney, it does not mean you are getting good representation. Please learn from my bad experiences on this. I wish I had started out with the Grunky and Assoc. firm. Their retainer was a bit higher than others but their billing was reasonable and not inflated. I went through 3 other firms for pre- and post-decree before retaining this firm and I could have saved tens of thousands of $$s by hiring Danya first! Incompetent representation cost me a bundle. Others are incompetent and expensive or incompetent and cheap or try to do too many types of law practices. Grunyk and Assoc. did a great job for me: expertise was high, they were honest about expectations, good communications and kept me informed. I recommend them without hesitation. |

Danya handled my divorce and kept me thinking clearly during a most stressful and emotional time. I am a lawyer, and I often tried to "lawyer" my own case. Danya was wonderful thru the entire divorce process and still available for questions afterwards. Everyone in her office is very nice as well. I would certainly recommend Danya and her office! |

As a business owner, I have to deal with situations that involve litigation. Most of these experiences are filled with stress. When the topic becomes as personal as divorce; it has the potential to be even more difficult. I am so happy that I was referred to Danya to represent me in my divorce. Danya immediately calmed me down and invested the time to ensure that she knew my preferred outcome. Danya made me feel like I was her most important client as she was always available to take my calls, answer my questions, and most importantly, when I needed just to talk about my concerns she listened so well. As the lawsuit progressed, Danya kept me posted on the progress in a very timely manner. What I appreciated most was her aggressiveness in ensuring we achieved our goals (and we did)! As a father involved in a very bad divorce, Danya and her staff helped me tremendously. Not only in the issues regarding the divorce but in the harder issues of the pain and hurt that accompanied the whole horrible process. The made it possible for me get through it. As an executive I am used to working with top legal staff. This felt no different. I got the personal attention, the advice (both legal and personal) that allowed me to get through a very difficult period of my life with decency and dignity--Danya always made sure that we took the 'high road'--and because of that I feel much better about the decisions that I made. When 'toughness' was required, she was tough. When sensitivity was required she was sensitive. When strategy was necessary she offered excellent direction. And as a person she--and her entire office--was respectful, caring, warm, and helpful. I could not recommend this person more--especially for dads who are being mischaracterized by abusive wives. |
