As the president of an organization that has been helping homeschooling families for nearly 20 years, I have seen the work of quite a few attorneys. I have NEVER seen one as knowledgeable, aggressive, sincere, and effective as Lanis. One of the families with whom we are working now hired a local attorney and squandered $8K on him before finding Lanis. Within a few days of taking their badly mishandled case, she had filed more than a dozen overdue motions with the court, and changed the entire tenor of the adjudication, throwing light on the egregious misconduct of the county. Do not let the all 5 rating that I gave her lead you to discredit my evaluation as flippant; I believe she truly is exceptional in all 5 areas. |

This attorney has integrity, grit, wisdom and a true compassion for her work and the truth. She communicates fabulously, and is willing to invest the time it takes to make you feel fully informed about what is happening. I highly recommend her. |

Lanis Karnes is currently representing my family in a legal battle with the state. She has been very good to them and very aggressive in her defense. I am truly thankful that they have someone like her on their side. She seems to be knowledgeable, finding avenues to accomplish her purpose; communicates clearly and often; and is like a pit bull, latching on and not giving up. If she can't win this battle, no one can. |

Lanis Karnes and her staff are wonderful!! We have worked with Lanis numerous times in our foster care system. With her knowledge and experience she is able to help both parties with family issue that need to be address for the best interest of the children. Lanis keeps you in the loop with your case so you are aware at all times your standings. As a person her family values, dedication and love for families and their children, communication skills, and promptness to your needs out does all other lawyers. Lanis Karnes is wonderful. She is one of the best. Though I had plenty to use against my spouse I made it clear that I wanted to just split everything 50/50, and she worked with both me and my spouse to help us do exactly what I wanted. She is a wonderful person and a GREAT attorney. She is one of the best! |

Ms. Karnes worked diligently for both myself and my children. I have never seen an attorney so dedicated and also so caring. I truthfully do not believe I would have been able to make it through such a difficult time with any other person defending my family. I am so thankful God put her in our lives. |

As a Guardian Ad Litem, she did not represent the best interests of the children but instead represented the father's wishes up to and including coaching the children and filing for a R.O against the Mother with NO evidence to support the father's libelous claims. |
