Pathetic excuese for a lawyer! Charges double what the "best divorce lawyer" in north georgia typically charges and does half the work!!! |

To the people who complain about Rob Ray, get a life and grow up. I have known Rob Ray for many years and have used his service many of times. Yes he may be on the high side, if you are from Ellijay, Ga., but he is far cheaper than those lawyers from Atlanta. They charge $400.00 an hour! I have yet to get them to give me a call back, I have called them 25 times in 2 years and have not heard from them. I gave up on those lawyers in Atlant. You fail to mentioned how many times you have contacted Mr. Ray in the course of 2 years. Every time I called him, he responds at the end of the day, he takes his time to listen to your problem and you betther take his advise, because he has a better solution than I can come up, because he is a good lawyer. Rob Ray has been in Ellijay for a long time. Im sadden that he has left town, due to economic turndown, but next time you get a lawyer in Ellijay, if there is any left. You will get one that will give you a worse experience. My opinion. |

Seems all is the same ole same ole with Rob Ray. I keep seeing the same type of stories as mine so I will share it with you. I had a simple cut and dry case of divorce. took it to court and judge told both of us we needed lawyers. so I hired Rob Ray. Three years later I still am not divorced and with his help I have a fraud charge of none diligent search and he was responsible for that. I am legally blind and live off fixed income but that dont seem to matter to Rob Ray he still took what I could give him and did nothing. My wife didnt even have a lawyer. so Judge Doss took her into his and took a personal intrest and file her papers and took her into his chambers. Yes there is witnesses to his personal counsiling in his chambers but it is a officer of the court that said he had to much to lose to get involved in it.Rob Ray decided it was not worth his time although I paid him over 1500 dollars. Trust me when I tell you Rob Ray is a Fake and even worse the judges are crooks too.. |

Robert ray turn my devorce case over to another lawer in his firm . I have wait almost two years to get a devorce from a man that i have not evern leave with in 8 years. I feel like my money was taken and nothing was ever done.I still wait for a devorice. This does not only happen to men. This time i am a woman trying to make it into this world with out having to depend on a man and I have lost . All i want is a devorce from my ex husband and to be able to see my daugher when ever i can. I can't move on. Because my lawyer can't get it together or just took my money. I am a mother and I made a sacaFice when i let my daughter live with her dad. All i want is fair treatment and to see my daughter when i can. I hope woman out there who was miss treated by there ex but was a great dad does not have to go thought what i had to . I not fair. |

Rob Ray was impossible to communicate with, AFTER he sold himself to my wife and received our retainer, and even though he did nothing for us and communicated nothing to us or for us, he kept half of the retainer when we asked him to please NOT work for us. He charged us $350/hr for 6.5 hours of nothing, even though his verbal fee to us was less. One hour of the charge is for the initial sales consultation he gave my wife and another charge is for supposedly trying to get in touch with us but he never even returned my emails! He is a fraud and I recommend that you avoid his business in Ellijay Georgia. He also did not seem to know anything about probate nor have good connections in Ellijay with the probate court. He also promised my wife that he wouldn't curse at the judge which I hope he in fact never did. We have moved on to another lawyer but I recommend that you stay away from his business. It cost me $2250 to give you this advice. |
