She doesn't always follow through on things you agree to. During trials i'd bring up important info n she would nod but not follow up. She wouldn't object to ridiculous defense claims. I agree with others about poor communication. She's always on vacation, out if the office or something. They charge for emails n calls following up on her lack of communication. She messed up academic badly that she failed to file forms required to close an alimony case that ended up costing me more trials n money. |

Laura does advocate for her clients. She really is the best lawyer I have encountered in a long while. She does not over bill, she also may not want to spend hours with you on the telephone because she knows it is not the best use of a clients money. But she does read and respond to emails, she remembers key facts, she has a superb office staff who are pleasant to deal with. I went through one of the worst divorces a person could imagine. I had almost zero chances of getting the outcome I desired due to the failure of another local attorney who was suppossed to be the best. But then I hired Laura, and she turned the case around and got the very best outcome anyone could have hoped for. She did this without me having to declare bankruptcy,and she communicated at the key times about critical strategy. If you want a truly excellent lawyer, pick Laura. You won't find a better person in Harford county to get you through a divorce. |

Always on vacation or out of the office. Takes forever to return phone calls. Doesn't fight for what the client needs. Very frustrating to work with. |

I'm sorry I disagree with you totally, all of you . She helped me through a really bad divorce. She has balls of steel and she really went to bat for me. She is so good in fact she was my Ex- husband's lawyer's..lawyer. When a lawyer gets divorced you bet they get the best around. She is pricey and there may be a lag in the communication at some times, but you find me a lawyer that does not have the same problem. She is really really good, and she also did NOT charge me for plenty of services she DID provide me. If you want a good PIT BULL lawyer go with Laura and you can't go wrong. |

She defended a priest who sexually abused two of his three children(and who had a prior record of misconduct with a woman in VA). She lost that case. She lost the case of the soldiers disability funds going to his x-wife. |

Poor communication. Don't return calls or emails in a prompt manner. Seems like they are always on vacation or in trial and no time for clients not in trial. Often lose or misplace paper work, and don't work well with the client. Seems like you have to keep sending emails and making calls and they make thier money that way because they charge you for each time you call or email. So if they don't respond, you have little choice. They are rarely there in the office either! |
