Beware! Don't let that sweet smile of hers fool you. Marina is the PITBULL OF EMPLOYMENT LAW. She is the most intelligent, ethical & professional attorney out there. She hands down not only won my case, got a HUGE settlement but also added some humor to the case. Let's just say she made my x-boss crack under pressure during her own deposition which then pushed her into showing everyone she was nuts and pretty much confessing to everything... I came to Marina after I was dumped by my previous attorney after a year and a half battle that went nowhere. Not only that, my previous attorney tried to push me into an unreasonable settlement just to get me off her books. I came to Marina and had my case resolved within a few months and received 5 times the settlement my previous attorney couldn't get! Marina is the best!!! |

This is by far, in my personal opinion the best lawyer in the state of California.Hands down she is a straight shooter,she will not bs you into thinking that you have a case, and charging you a insane consultation fee.She will simply tell you if you have a case, and if so how to proceed! |

Marina was fantastic and hopefully I will never need a lawyer again, but if I do and I need someone in her area of expertise I know who I am going to. When I went to Marina I had a very short time frame to make a decision and she was great. She made me feel comfortable and answered all of my questions and explained everything in sufficient detail for me to understand my options. She was also very straight forward. Marina is an amazing person, and an even more amazing attorney.She stood up for me when no one else would. While I was a nervous wreck, who I'm sure made her crazy at times, she hung in there, soothed me,and reminded me that I wasn't in the wrong. I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat.On top of being very professional, she knows when to lighten the mood, and just how to do it. She's a pit bull, that girl. Marina is so thorough and tells things like it is. In fact, I've grown to love the phrase "It is what it is" because of her. She made a very difficult case easier and explained everything until I fully understood it. From the moment I stepped into her office I felt a world size load of weight fall off my shoulders. When the weight started building again, she gently removed it and kept it off. She gracefully accepted the challenge with confidence and oh, that smile of hers will melt any jury (and this client), but don't get me wrong; she can be tough (which is a plus when the other party is involved).
