Gary and his entire staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. His prices were VERY reasonable. He helped me with getting my ex to follow the law when it comes to visitation. (I read the comment about his past.. all I have to say is he w/o sin cast the 1st stone. Everyone makes mistakes.) |

Mr. Blatter, has represented me in both divorce and business matters. I have been very pleased with the results, and so have the many many others that I have referred to Mr. Blatter. His staff is really just expert. Let me be totally honest about lawyers, I hate having to pay legal fees, but, every dime I, and all those I have referred, have spent was well worth it. |

I don't understand why people are so upset about having to pay an attorney, yes I am talking about the people who complained about having to pay Mr Blatter for his services. I felt his prices were reasonable, as a matter of fact he was MUCH more reasonable than other attorney's I met with. He did a great job on my divorce, and I would use him again. |

I used Gary Blatter for a divorce and all went fine. Definitely had issues with the "ex" but Gary helpped so much to make it easier - if that is possible during a divorce. I would definitely recommend him. |

Googling Gary Blatter yields this information: In 1992, in Nevada, Gary Blatter was Indicted by the SEC on five counts of conspiracy, securities fraud and wire fraud. <http://www.sec.gov/news/digest/1992/dig031992.pdf> In 1993 he pled guilty to conspiring to obstruct the lawful functions of the SEC, using his cousins as figurehead officers and filing a false form concealing their identities. He was sentenced to 3 years probation and 200 hours of community service, again in Nevada. <http://www.sec.gov/news/digest/1993/dig052193.pdf> This is public record, and it makes you wonder how someone with a record like that can practice law in Utah. If you are considering hiring this lawyer, please do investigate this for yourself. |

Mr. Blatter, acting in a divorce matter, did a fine job of negotiating for me. I got what I needed and my wife got what she wanted (although she did get more than I wanted to pay but I guess it was a fair deal). He is a decent guy who was both friendly and pleasant. I would certainly use him again for negotiation. |

Seriously the worst lawyer in Utah without question. This guy is a total ripoff artist who scams his clients out of their money by pretending to be a competent attorney. His staff is equally incompetent and any real lawyer would run circles around them. Beware of this firm. Stay away. They charged me over $11,000 for doing virtually nothing on my case. Even when we did get to court, my attorney was nearly thrown out because he didn't follow the most basic rules of civil procedure. Nevertheless, he still charged me for his incompetent behavior. I have filed a complaint against him with the Utah State Bar Association. |
