Melanie is SLIMEY!!! She will try every dirty trick she can to try to win your case (but then advise you to settle in the end). If you want a lawyer who will try to settle your case fairly and quickly, avoid Melanie: find someone who will be objective about your prospects, not someone who just wants your money. |

If you are looking for a divorce lawyer, steer clear of Melanie Webre. She and her law firm takes full advantage of clients who may not be completely familiar with the system. She charged me a 1/4 of an hour for every little thing she did, i.e., calling me and leaving a voice mail, sending a quick response to an e-mail. She clearly did not have my best interest at heart during my case, charged me way more than I could afford to pay, and then when I couldn't pay, slapped a lien on my house and then followed that up with a suit. Stay away from this lawyer. |
