I was facing serious charges after my DUI arrest, so I needed some serious help. Before I hired Michael he laid out everything that could happen, which shows how much he knows about this, and everything he said came true! He treated me with respect and actually spoke to me instead of down to me. Anytime I had a question, I was able to get a response. Maria, who works with him, is also a wonder. If you want to be treated like a person instead of a dollar bill I suggest speaking to Michael Richmond before hiring anyone for a DUI. I was pretty sure I was screwed. I found Michael Richmond through a recommendation. If I were to be convicted of a DUI, I was going to LOSE MY JOB. I blew RIGHT at the illegal BAC level....the cops treated me like a felon. Mr. Richmond at least made me feel human again and helped me. He worked on my case, his staff was great. When all was said and done, I had NO DUI charge...NOTHING! I had a traffic violation, my court costs and legal fees: PENNIES compared to what a DUI would do. Mr. Richmond--your firm is the best. Michael Richmond and his staff were phenomenal. As an out of state offender, they were able to address all my concerns. They never sugar-coated or offered empty promises. I appreciated how forward they were with me. By laying out what I could expect (when the process was entirely foreign to me) they were able to manage my stress and develop a plan for how we intended to fight my charge. In the end, Michael Richmond and his staff went above and beyond to make sure that I was not unjustly punished for a stupid mistake. They saved my career. THANK YOU! |

Michael Richmond and his staff were exceptional in handling my D.U.I. case. They earned twice their fee in customer service alone. They were extremely attentive and supportive and went far past the extra mile to make sure I slept at night stress free. I would highly recommend his firm without hesitation. |

When I was arrested for a DUI I knew I needed HONEST and experienced counsel. I also knew I wanted a Lawyer with compassion for my situation as well, but above all, I didn't want to pay too much. Having dealt with Attorneys throughout my career as a business owner I knew that a lot of Lawyers will tell you anything in the beginning to get your money. Mr. Richmonds office was was not only excetionally honest, but performed excetionally well on my case. I think I got a fair result for my case because I had a very high alcohol level, but I will say that this office is honest but sometimes blunt. They have fair fees I think. |

I highly doubt the authenticity of some of the negative comments below and ask that you keep in mind that this website has no "controls" in place and anybody can post a comment. The law office of Michael Richmond far and away exceeded my expectations. From their clear and concise advice and counsel I was able to navigate my way through one of the lowest points in my life. Being charged with a DUI carries a tremendously negative stigma but Mr. Richmond was a professional who never made me feel any less than respected. Mike and his team did an outstanding job with my DUI case. I was charged with a DUI and it was reduced to a Dry Reckless thanks to Mike. He is very straightforward, and understands how to navigate this complicated process. I can't imagine where I would be if he didn't handle my case. Excellent lawyer and great staff. Some of the customers below must still be drunk after using this great dui lawywer because they were nothing but professional as far as I'm concerned, and handled my case to the best outcome. While they were extremely busy they kept me up to date on my case at all times. Their staff lawyer was also excellent and helped me through a very difficult time at trial. Kudos. I've learned my lesson, but I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a good attorney. |

Michael was up front with me from my initial consultaion. He did not try to hard sell me with promises of success or a long list of victories. His staff treated my case as an individual and took care of my specific needs. He was often available after hours and even took the time to return my calls on his family vacation. Everyone helped me relax during this stressful time with the extra effort made on my case - not to mention I also got a good result. |

If the staff's lips are moving they are lying (except for Anna). They do NOT respond to your inquiries but belittle you if you ask a question. They take your money & YOU have to do the work if you want to make a case. They give INCORRECT information if they give it at all. They STILL have NOT returned my file after 2 requests in as many weeks & this is the law (Yes, I had to do my own investigating of the law). The only reason I scored any category above 1 is the preparation for the DMV hearing. They DO hire someone else to review police records so that they can have help to figure out if there is a viable case. You could go hire this professional evaluator (ex-cop) yourself & save a couple grand. At the 11th hour, my case was turned over to a green attorney who never met me & only did a cursory glance at my file. The attorneys are never in the office. Be prepared to deal with the office GIRLS (very young). Save your $ and go with a Public Defender = same results - sarcasm. |

I used this lawyer for a dui several months ago. I could never get a hold of him and he was always "out to court" or some other excuse. He seems to know what he is doing and he seems to know his way around the court system. I think that he presured me into taking a deal that made it less work for him and got me stuck with a record that I did not have to have. |

i am a student who was attending school in san diego when i was isued a d.u.i. by chp. i transfered to texas before my case wasx brought to trial.i was worried about keeping up with everything i needed to know about my case. not only did attorney hail keep me well informed about every aspect that underwent but he accomplished the impossible as far as i am concerned. his knowledge of the the law was incredible. i would reccomend attorney joshua hale to anyone facing d.u.i. charges. |
