He was my ex's lawyer, I am not the same person who wrote the comments on buddy being her ex's lawyer, but my comments would only echo hers. He also fired my ex in the end, was very cutthroat, tricky and manipulative. My lawyer was also VERY weak and so it was not that much work for Buddy in that way. Smart and quick to sue and my ex complained of the constant billing which is why I think he was fired. |

He is lame and does not look out for your interests at all. He is very quick to take your money and very slow to get anything done. At first I thought I had we'll spoken smart lawyer on my side. He is smart ..... Smart enough to get your money and provided me no results. I had to fire him and after more the 5 thousand dollars I had to start over with another lawyer. |

Mr Melnyk is a senior lawyer who is extremely knowledgable. He represented me in a very complex family matter. I found his communication skills to be one of his strengths. He explained things clearly so I could understand. I would highly recommend him. |

He didn't report to me on anything. Was getting bills for services we didn't ask for, and didn't do the ones I asked. Doesn't return calls or emails |

Don't waste your time or money. He quit for unknown reasons. Perhaps did not like being asked for accountability in work and money spent?? |

I find Buddy to be friendly and very helpful. He does exactly what you ask but makes sure it is the best thing for you as well. |

Mr. Melnyk is the second lawyer in my life who was available for my complex civil litigation problem. He provided the best service (prompt and excellent), charging for 1 hour only. This was my ex's lawyer. Very quick on his feet. Cruel cutthroat and tricky. A real scrapper/manipulator. Did what I think is a very good job for his client. But I had a really weak lawyer on the other hand. I know my ex did not appreciate it because the bill was excessive. Buddy canceled my ex as a client in the end. I would not take him as a lawyer (if I could) because of the cost. But he will fight for you, but he might end up fighting you too.. beware |

Mr. Melynk strung me along for over a year and half, without hardly anything being done on my file, including no child support.
I'm a single mom, with 2 kids and have had no support from my ex in 3 years and Mr. Melnyk knew this, but yet he cost me about Ten thousand.
Then on top of it all, he dumped me as client saying that I have no matrimonial property to be divided. I thought that being married for 23 years and owning 3 companies that would have been matrimonial property, but I guess in his eyes that wasn't enough. |

After supporting my children by myself for two years I finally started to receive it, then Mr Melnyk suspended my Child support for ninety days with my approval. well he didn't have my approval I knew nothing about it until maintenance called me and told me, not just once but twice. And he cost me almost $20, 000. |
