She seemed quite knowledgeable and easy to deal with at first, but then became very difficult to get in touch with, would not return calls for weeks in spite of many attempts on our behalf to speak with her, advised us to do most of the negotiating (regarding the sale of a business) on our own with little or no feedback from her, and then after a couple of months informed us that she was 'too busy' with other matters and that we should find a new lawyer. It was quite upsetting, as the time we were waiting to hear feedback/legal advice from her ended up costing us a lot of extra money and stress that was really quite unnecessary. It would have been more acceptable and professional on her part if she had informed us much earlier that she did not wish to continue with our case. Although she may seem to be a nice person, I do not feel I would recommend her as a lawyer to anyone at this time. |
