Charged my son 5K to answer a contempt from his ex-wife. Filed a contempt against her.(which she ignored). Would not follow up on his contempt without more money. I thought he was overcharged for too little service.
Didn't keep my son updated on the case. Was late for court. Really did nothing to help-knew he couldn't do anything for my son but gave him false hope and certainly took the 5k retainer fee
My mother trusted this attorney to convey her property at her demise in a will and he created a detrimental situation by failing to probate her estate in a timely manner. His neglegence led to costing the estate thousands of dollars in legal fees for his firm. He also had another client that wanted to purchase the estate and he agreed to procure our property for his other client at a very low price from us if the other client would agree to settle his case. Very unethical attorney.
