My family hired him $25.000 up front, on a capital murder case, he got my nephew, who was 18 years old at the time, 15 years, he sat in jail for 2 years awaiting trial, but they wanted to give him 30 years, so we are ok, with the work he done! he will get the best deal he possible can, and he is a little slow on returning calls, he is a busy man! I would use him again, ig it came down to it! best thing to do is sty out of trouble, if you can not afford it!! Its all about money! when it come to the criminal system! |

BEST DAMN LAWYER IN TEXAS!!! HE DOES THINGS HIS OWN WAY...HE'S BUSY AND MOST CLIENTS DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT HE'S HAS MORE THAN ONE CASE...I DIDN'T BOTHER HIM AND HE GOT ME THE BEST DEAL FOR MY SITUATION ANYONE COULD GET. I WAS VERY SATISFIED. PPL NEED TO GET A GRIP I HEAR ALL KINDS OF NEGATIVITY ABOUT HIM BUT I WANT A LAWYER THAT HAS TONS OF CLIENTS THAT MEANS HE HAS A GOOD REP AND TONS OF PEOPLE TRUST HIM. Scottie is a beast in the court room and knows what he is doing! I did most of my communication through his legal assistant, which I understood and expected since he is a busy man and is ALWAYS in a trial. Well worth the money paid for the NOT GUILTY verdict. |

I have had the same problem. We paid Mr Allen 25,000 in cash 2yrs ago & still havent went 2 court. He have continued to set the court date off while his client sits in jail. If we know what we known now, we would have never given that man 25,000 |

I had the same poor experience. Atty Allen has no integrity! He does not prepare for his client's case, and shows up to court unprepared. He has no regard of the outcome of his client, but is only interested in getting paid. As he continues to practice with this type of carelessness, and disregard of his clients future, he will not have a good future. You truly reap what you sow. |

We had a very poor experience with this lawyer. We paid over $8,000 and got nothing in return. He never returned our calls and delayed our case for three years. When we were finally told our case was going to trial, it was the night before the trial was to begin and we had NO prep time! Horrible! |
