He waited more than four years to act on a case that had a five year statute of limitations and numerous attempts to contact him were met with ignoring me though he had taken $5k to handle my case. He did no work on the case, did not communicate with me and when I asked for my $5k to be returned, he refused to return the money. He also acted in conjunction with the attorneys he was representing me against to form a business partnership in order to 'stuff' my case until the statute ran out. I showed this evidence to the State Bar of Georgia, but they have sided with the lawyer. They did not say he was not wrong, they said they they were not going to pursue it. I was advised to attempt to get my money through fee arbitration, but I'm certain those arbitrators are made up of the same kind of people, so I won't waste my time. If you are not "famous" like Wesley Snipes, which is all Meachum is interested in associating with, you will not be able to use his services to any satisfaction. |
